December 23, 201510 yr Lol mate. Deny it all you want, you know new posters get shi*ted on. The past tense of sh*t is shat. Can we move on now please these petty arguments are ruining this place! Well said, Bobby!
December 23, 201510 yr More reason to hate that turd of a paper. It has been quite uneven with its coverage of this.
December 23, 201510 yr Just move on please, I've been involved in them myself but enough is enough. Spot on Bobby, annoyingly said types of posts quite often end up with the poster being banned eventually; arrive, annoy, antagonise, aggravate then the assassin with the ban hammer does their stuff. It really is futile. Once they're gone that's good, but the damage had been done., Someone mentioned blogging, that doesn't feed them... I don't know what the answer is, but you are right it is ruining things.
December 23, 201510 yr I always like when new posters moan about how sh*t this forum is and yet keep coming back for more.
December 23, 201510 yr Pretty shocked to hear that Jose directly accused the players of beytral BEFORE the Leicester game. can't blame them for their performance if they are being treated like that. I'm so disappointed in Jose is how he has handled this season, such a let down. I thought Jose would be able to sustain it.
December 23, 201510 yr See that the thing I'm gutted Jose went but he really didn't do himself any favours did he? I think it's plain to see the players weren't playing for him. I still maintain most of them were f**king cowards on the pitch though but I also think Jose had to go in the end.
December 23, 201510 yr There were some awful decisions went against him and the team this season, all in the space of 16 games. I wonder why that was, surely not.
December 23, 201510 yr The past tense of sh*t is shat. Well said, Bobby! Maybe moi you should research the word 'sh*tted'. It doesn't necessarily only stand as past tense for sh*t.
December 23, 201510 yr Let's not forget that during the first half of last season we played incredible attacking football under Jose. He may be considered a defensive coach but some of the football we've seen from our players during that period was such a joy to watch. The Schurrle goal against Burnley and Fabregas' against palace showcased what we were capable of producing as a team. The second half of the season was all about maintaining our position in the league, and that's understandable. Everything seemed positive. Whatever went on this season... I'll never know. If attacking football got us to the top, would it have not taken us further away from the opposition? why change to pure defensive motion.

December 23, 201510 yr If attacking football got us to the top, would it have not taken us further away from the opposition? why change to pure defensive motion. I think after the Spuds defeat I think he felt we had a real weakness, not only in the team but more importantly the squad. He obviously made a decision to go very pragmatic to just basically win the title, no matter what. It worked, obviously but that may have been the decision that dragged us into a "bad situation", then if he did try and play more expansive this season they all found it difficult to get going again.
December 23, 201510 yr Last season he guided us to the title. His first season was always going to be difficult given how poor we were before he came in. He was up against a mighty Barca side when he was in Madrid. Sometimes statistics dont tell the whole story. A lot of revisionism has occurred since Jose's departure that his second stint with us was terrible in comparison to his first stint. Despite this season's disaster, his first two seasons here were better than what we had produced in the previous three seasons prior to his return. Winning the double last season is a fantastic achievement in its own right and deserves far more applause and praise than it has received from many, especially those who openly dislike the man.
December 23, 201510 yr Lol mate. Deny it all you want, you know new posters get shi*ted on. So that's why guys like Chelsbear, Zinc, Jk88 and some others have been welcomed with open arms and treated well by other posters despite being "newbies" which is what I define as being people who joined the forum this year. The reason these posters I've mentioned have been well-respected is because they post their opinions well but most importantly they've earned the trust of other posters and respected other posters without having a sinister and condescending tone behind their posts. You could take a leaf out of their books rather than acting like a tool and starting fights with fellow posters. Edited December 23, 201510 yr by Jezz

Why where they cowards? maybe they where playing in there shell, because they where frighten of over elaboration in matches because of getting a volley from JM, just like the medical staff got for just doing there job, we do not know what the atmosphere was like in training, we was not there.

That does not explain the Swansea result though does it, best attacking game I have seen in a few seasons, bar the 6 - 0 Arsenal game which was helped by the sending off, so no real nessasry to go defencive. Just resorting to type, as the best form of defence is attack, still it is only opinions and we all have them.

It absolutely a fantastic achievement. Credit to Jose for that. However I think this squad should be lasting more than one season (two if you included his first season). Doesn't seem right that Jose can knacker a whole squad out within one season and then expect to refresh the squad. It's a not sustainable or realistic model of football management. He needs to use his resources better - which he quite frankly, did not.

Like some how Chelsea players were pushed more or expected to work harder than any other footballer in Europe. I guess this notion does go to support how inferior this squad is compared to our 2005 squad as it wasn't too much of a work load for the Chelsea players who won back to back titles under Mourinho. They were werent they? In a memtal sense Jose probably demands more from his players than anyone. On the pitch he also probably demands more in terms of performance as well. Thus the betrayed comment, players made a few mistakes, as all do, and Jose felt like they werent carrying out his orders.

December 23, 201510 yr The players have still been covering the ground like they did last year ... so could the difference be mental exhaustion rather than physical ? Fear of making mistakes ? Too much focus on tactics and the opposition when we had players who would prefer to just go out and "play football" ... with more emphasis on attack ... I think this is the burn out that Capello was talking about. I also think Costa was unsettled by the sale of his good mate Luis back to Atletico. I felt a bit sorry for Luis - never really had a fair chance to cement a place as the regular left back. Good player.

We can agree to disagree but I think they were cowards.

We've all worked for a demanding manager and felt how exhausting it is and the pressure they put on. I can understand why they would be exhausted. Going forward, do you think Jose will change his style? Will he have learnt from this?
