I wonder how much of their demise is due that aggressive pressing they've been doing since the start of the season. It was pretty impressive and terrifying when they were swarming forward tearing teams apart but they look a shadow of that team. Doesn't seem like it's sustainable in a league where there are no Christmas breaks to recharge batteries.

Anyway long may it continue. They've been obnoxious all season so this dose of reality is welcome.

I said ages ago they'd struggle after Christmas playing that high press. It's too hard to sustain with a small squad.

Not that United would have sold him to us but would anyone would have had Depay at Chelsea? Always thought he looked decent, if not abit flashy.

I thought he was hugely overrated.

He done some stopovers and liked to showboat...they instantly thought Ronaldo and parted with big money and gave him the number 7 shirt.

He looked decent for maybe 3 or 4 games and that was that, he was woeful ever since.

So apparently the wind was a reason they lost last night :laugh2:

First half, it was difficult – the wind was really strange, it was difficult to handle. You saw one or two balls when the ball stopped in a moment when nobody knew about it. That was difficult for a football-playing side.

Surely they must realise that if the wind was affecting them it would do the same to Southampton......:face_palm:

That's not how it works. "A football playing side" has more trouble with the wind. Southampton don't play football

Ah of course not.  They play netball.:laugh2:

Watford have signed MBaye Niang.

The controversies section on his wikipedia page is mental.

Hope he likes public transport.

I heard that Klopp has the same winning percentage after 81 games in charge as LVG had at United after the same number of matches. Hardly earth shattering.

They will be busting a gut to beat us. Chances are Klopp will play youngsters against Wolves and have trouble getting past them. Basically all you have to do to stop his heavy metal football is defend well and hit them on the counter. Plymouth sussed them out.

He's a  bit cheesed off.

Can someone please explain how that could be a penalty? If you get a penalty for that, then we should've had 30+ by now...

The refs got to be doing this deliberately,  surely they can't be this incompetent week in week out.

It's not that we're the only ones... seen so many horrendous decisions in other games as well this season. What has happened to the referees?
