Liverpool could go three weeks without a match.  I suppose that'll be used as an excuse for under-performance too

"we play too infrequently", "we play too often"  "Chelsea's schedule is fixed"  "it isn't fair"  "Chelsea have all the luck"  "wah, wah, wah"

Title race back on

Seems like raniery is on the edge..

Quote

"I spoke with Riyad [Mahrez] and Jamie [Vardy] and we know why [they have scored less goals], and I can't tell you

"Yes, [the meeting was] only them because they link together. If you see how many goals they scored and how many assists they made, and this season no. That's it.

"To Riyad, I said come back to last season. Two words: come back

"He's trying. He's positive and I'm very very happy when he's positive. I look at him and he's smiling and that's okay."

Too simple minded and seems like still unaware of the root cause for the 'team' struggle..

Jeez that's worse than something Hodgson would come out with.

Liverpool FC have banned The Sun journalists from their premises meaning they can't attended their home matches or press conferences.

The Sun say it's "bad for fans"

I say "that's f**king hilarious".

Also I said it before but Wenger stays because he makes the board and the owners money whilst spending little.

The fans seem also seem divided on Wenger as some treat him like he's some sort of God. He's won 3 league titles in 20yrs. It's hardly enough to be regarded as some sort of saint. Mourinho got that in a mere 5yrs and still got sacked.

This whole Arsene is doing well with out spending money is a myth over the last 3 season Arsenal have spent £210m with a net spend of £190m thats a lot of money

In comparison we have spent £100m more at £310m but have a net gain of £30m so a net spend of £220m less than Arsenal, and in the process won 1 premier league and are top in a second

Spurs have spent £170m at a net spend £15m

Whilst top 4 and 2 FA cups is nothing to be scoffed at they are spending a damn sight more than any other London club of late

Hopefully they do the same to the guardian which is just as much of a rag.

You have to be a monumental idiot to compare the guardian to the dailymail.

I never ever thought these words would need to be said on the Shed End. But they did, so thank you for that @Ivanov87  ::clap2::

I say its timing by Liverpool to take the pressure of their sh*tty form.

Is any paper anything more than a rag these days ? Maybe the FT ?

The dumbing down of pretty much all aspects of the media is really sad ... and websites are perhaps the worst example ... i don't know who decided that no-one in the world could cope with anything more than pictures and 30 second videos, but whoever that is would be against the wall in my revolution :-)

I can understand them having the hump with the sun but hillsborough was getting on 30 years ago !! surely most of the people who were working there then are long gone?

talk about inability to move on
