8 pts is still a good lead

yeah - beat Swansea and we will be at least 10 points clear going into March - I'd take that any season. Some of the chasers will have a match in hand but points in the bag is what you need at this stage.

Our next five league games are key. They're all games that we should be able to win.

Come through those with 13 points or more and I think we're as good as there.

Get 13 points and the game against City isn't as crucial either.

I think Conte needs to come up with a way to break down a solid defence, because teams will see what Burnley did, sticking men behind the ball and forcing us to have possession instead of being able to counter all the time, and will try to replicate it. Maybe going 2 up front with Costa and Bats, and getting some crosses into the box, with Alonso one side and maybe switching Moses for someone else on the right, as he can't cross for sh*t.

I don't get this sentiment - as long as it is 0-1 Bournemouth have a chance. Think they will score one - if it's enough I don't know but I'll keep watching.

fair enough but Bournemouth are on a bad run so it was pretty obvious

Yeah, but they seem to do well against the bigger teams. However, the early substitutions took their toll tonight.

A bit worrying that they were 12 points behind only 3 games ago. There's 13 games to go so 8 points is far from an insurmountable and they've done it before. As said above, there's a growing sense we're being sussed out, so we could do with a plan B sharpish.

That stretch of games for City Liverpool Arsenal US will decide who wins the title

I think there is a good chance they will have to fit the postponed game v Man United in between the matches against Liverpool and Arsenal. Champions League Quarter Finals start week beginning 10 April.

Hold on there's an international break with games on 24-26 March - I suppose they could schedule City v United for 29 March but the clubs would not like that.

Wednesday 1 March might do for the United game.

3 games ago we were 8 points ahead of Arsenal, yes a lot can happen in 3 games but neither Conte nor the way we've been playing this season suggests we are likely to panic.

Yesterday was a tough game in poor conditions but I don't think it signals a change in our fortunes.

Yeah they have a very tough run in but a not worried I think the players kinda needed a wake up and some fans I have zero doubt in Conte hes brought us to touching distance and he won't let it slip hes said before hes been there as a player and manager City have a very tough run of games which I can't see them winning them or evening drawing them all I said Burnely Will be our hardest game and i stand by that barring Crystal Place may be Swansea I don't see any team parking the bus they will want to play football against us and that suit us just fine and not remotely worried about them at this point Screenshot_20170213-112934.png

There is?

Because we draw away to a team with one of the best home records in the league?

Not sure I agree with that at all to be honest. Only a week ago we tore apart one of our title rivals 3-1. They certainly hadn't figured us out.

I think Conte is more worried about both Manchester clubs than Spurs, Arsenal or Loverpool.   We have some tough banana skins coming up against those fighting relegation and more recently, apart from Palace, the relegation teams are no mugs...especially Swansea every game is a cup final for those at the bottom. This title is far from over, but let's be honest, I don't think any of us at the start of year expected any more than a top 4 spot, so anything other than that is a bonus in my eyes............of course given the position we are in if we fail we will be known as 'chokers' among rival fans and the media...especial the DM comic book.   I have faith, I hope the players believe they can go on an win it.

We've played Liverpool, Arsenal and Burnley away compared to there Bournemouth, West Ham and Swansea.

Not that shocked they have, they've still got Liverpool and Arsenal to play though.

If Raneri get sacked, all the top 6 managers must be wondering - Do I want risk my job winning this damn league ? Just like us last year, both title winning teams got complacent and didn't buy the reinforcement, enough said about us last season, but how Raneri didn't buy a central defender ( or 2) in the summer, and in January transfer window again? The Huth/Morgan combo is laughable , 2 rugby prop type of players with no legs left, and poor decision making every game.

Even if Leicester get relegated, no one could take away that league title from them. I bet Arsenal fans would trade 10 seasons of 4th spot finish for that title.
