Poor old pep and his ignorance of the defensive side of football, the idiot. Oh and yet another big game passes De Bruyne by, he's like a Belgian ozil.

If Pep isn't a coach for tackling or defending, why does he bother to have a defence? Just go with 10 attacking players. Do they even train the defence properly, or just use them as an opposition for all their attacking training? Must be pretty sh*t to be a defender in that system, how will you ever improve?

A better question is: what is he doing in football :laugh2:

Thank you! I don't get why some people cry over the fact we let KDB go. His stats aren't even that amazing this season and as you say he regularly disappears in the big games.

I am sorry but do you think Chinese and Indians fans dont have that problem?

When we came 10th last season, we did not get any leg pulling from fellow rival club's fans? What a ridiculous statement.

I apologize if that came across as ignorant but what i meant was the odds of a Chinese or Indian fan having to deal with a United fan the following morning is a lot less than say a City fan over here, I didn't mean to say overseas fans care less or anything.

Losing the game and being dumped out of Europe is no fun, but it's only half of the pain, the other half is administered by the likes of us your good friends on this forum.

Without pain there is no glory.

Fair enough mate.

Just so. Oh how sweet it was when we finally won the CL after all those years of foreplay...

The sound of silence tonight at OT.

The prawn sandwich brigade, how they can boast about their away support is beyond me. Martin Keown was all over them on Monday night, actually said he loved them at one stage, such a strange bloke, he must be scared of them.

They've got quite lucky. Pogba quite toothless again.

The Sun were trying to make out that people are being harsh on Pogba because his stats look better than Kante's.......

They need to watch football instead of focusing on the stats.

I think Pep will have some success at City, they're spending too much money not to but it remains to be seen if his spell will be successful.

Their transfer strategy this summer was bizarre. Buying Sane, Notillo, Jesus in addition to already having Navas, Sterling, Silva, De Bruyne and yet neglected to buy quality and experience in defence instead throwing £50m at a very raw John Stones.

We're coming to the closing stages of the season and he still doesn't have a settled partnership in midfield and has started about 7 different players there compared to us using three.

Tbf they have spent £120m on centre backs in the last 3 years between mangala, otemendi, and stones.

Pity none of them can defend!

When i was writing my last post, i thought there must have been some sort of serious injury in the game because it was that quiet. This so called support from United has been the worst i have heard all season. The commentators are almost whispering at times because it's that quiet.

Exactly, the way they were banging on the other night, it's as if they think they're the only away fans to make some noise.

Ironic when they chant Mourinho's right, you're fans are sh*te. Roy Keane was right, thier fans are sh*te. They have short memories.

Lyon scrape through, good game and I'm surprised it didn't boil over.

I wish i watched that game now. Watching English sides in Europe has been terrible again this season. I was watching Besiktas vs Olympiacos earlier and it was more entertaining and had more quality than pretty much any match involving English teams in Europe this season.

I don't understand why English sides don't just play like they would in the Premier League. Leicester did it against Sevilla and look what happened.

United fans are the most boring w**kers alive. They sing the same sh*t northern muggy songs and think they have the right to win everything and are the best fans alive blah blah blah. All the ones I know have NEVER been to Old  Trafford and we're born and bred in London. Utter drippy bores.
