June 21, 20179 yr Welbeck has got the number 7 shirt for next season. Sanchez to be unveiled as the mystery man? Where's that from?

Welbeck is back to number 23 at this minute, but what are the chances of that? Out of all players it's Sanchez's number. It could either be an error or someone who has spilled the beans. Interesting few weeks coming up...

June 23, 20179 yr Why on earth would he want to join City though? Aguero, Sane, Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Jesus, De Bruyne, Sterling. That's 7 bloody attackers already in the team fighting for 3 positions. Not to mention how sh*t Manchester is compared to London. Come to Chelsea mate.

Reckon City would line up like this: --------------------Ederson Alves-----Otamendi---Stones-----Mendy ---Bernardo---Gundogan---de Bruyne -----Sanchez------Jesus---------Sane But that still leaves Aguero, Sterling and Silva on the bench. It's actually f***ing ridiculous their attacking options.

But then again we're talking about Pep here. He'd play Ederson at CF if he thought it was "tactical". Not even sure why a player of Aguero's caliber is being benched. If I were Sanchez I'd be looking at Chelsea or Bayern tbh.

Reading up on their forums, the general consensus is that he will be shoehorned into the midfield. Another Pep masterstroke. They didn't even need him in the first place. Agree re: Alexis. Hate Bayern with a passion and would love if we could pip them to his signature.

Based on the way Pep talks about Spanish Dave I can't believe he would even consider it. More likely that the little magician would be the first name on the teamsheet. Which of course makes the Sanchez problem, should he join, a little bit harder still. Edited June 24, 20179 yr by OhForAGreavsie

That said, I think Pep's main goal is to deprive the top clubs of quality attacking players more than attempting to win the league at this point. Ofc, that team either wins 10-9 or lose 9-10

July 3, 20179 yr Why would Arsenal sell to Citeh and not us? Why would Sanchez choose Manchester over London when he reportedly likes London? I could understand LeArse not selling to another EPL club, but if he is available we should be in a really strong position. Maybe Sanchez wants to work with Pep again, but did that go so well last time?
