Conte's judgement.

Featured Replies

I'll probably get shot down by people for writing this but i have a terrible feeling that conte is about to go the same way as our 9 previous managers! It may be nothing but it has been reported that conte want's morato and emelano wants lukaku. If this is the case then tensions will slowly erode the relationship that has been built up by conte over this season. i might be wrong but this situation has deja vu written all over it!

Get out of here yo. He'll be around as long as he wins. Who's been fired because they disagreed with transfer decisions? This is embarassing on the verge of winning a league title and a possible double

If you believe what the media writes about Chelsea, then you are an idiot. They have no idea what is going on behind the scenes.

I agree, and I feel that's why Conte has used Batshuayi so little, I think he is sending a message to Emenalo so when he sits down with Emenalo at the end of the season he will say your £30m man doesn't suit my style of football, you need to bring players that I want. Hopefully Emenalo listens otherwise I can also see Conte walking.

Out of the two of them, Morata would be my choice. I think he's more mobile than Lukaku (and Costa for that matter).  Emanalo's judgement leaves a lot to be desired.

You guys don't know anything about what Michael Emanalo even does at Chelsea, the constant attacks on him at pathetic. It just demonstrates how stupid you guys are. I can't believe you are still sulking about Mourinho's sacking, surly Conte's success shows it was the right decision.

We'll see, I will say that I would have laughed people off at the end of the 09/10 and 14/15 seasons so I won't be saying there's no way cause I have learnt my lesson.

For now though let's just enjoy the end of the season and what is hopefully another double.

There was an article I read recently highlighting the question as to why emanalo has so much power in regards to personnel. Hopefully he's the one that goes. I don't want Lukaku back here. Clumsy oaf and it's all about me me me with him. Shame he doesn't have kante s work ethic. I trust Contes choice above anyone else's. The man has winner written through him like a stick of rock.

Both have their jobs. Both sit in a hotseat. I really think this is not the reason Conte will go. I hope we get another 3-4 years with Conte.

Then what do you think it would be? The reason he'll leave.

No need to worry, if it's true, only one winner. League and FA cup double in first season is pretty much the ultimate bargaining chip.

The Emenalo hate is the most bewildering thing i have ever seen following Chelsea, football even, it is based on absolutely nothing.

Did you not know the rule when it comes to transfers amongst Chelsea fans?

If the transfer fails then its Emanalo's fault, but if the transfer turns out to be great business its the manager that gets the praise.

Yeah like signing Hazard and Fabregas and Costa and Kante.

Tell me about it, its so bizarre. We are clearly a well run club, we make alot of great decisions both on and off the field and make no more mistakes than the likes of Real, Barca, Utd or any other mega club who have ex-pros on their board.

The things people criticise Emanalo for have been going on a the club before he joined and will continue to happen if he leaves.

Funny how I never read anything positive about him, only negative.

All I can put it down to is many Chelsea fans not liking the fact that we have a Nigerian on the board, so it makes an easy scapegoat if anything goes wrong.

I didn't know he was Nigerian. But I have no thoughts on him, we buy better than many clubs and we sell better than every club.

The main issue is that fans traditionally do not like anyone other than the manager overseeing transfers. I disagree with that entrenched view and think simply the manager should have a say.

I can assure you that his nationality is of no concern to supporters of a club as cosmopolitan as Chelsea.

Well done on finding some pathetic reason to call us xenophobic/racist, impressive stuff.

I didn't even know he was Nigerian.

You really have got some kind of racial problems going on in your head.

We worshipped a West African player more than any other player in our history............... if Mikel was here he would be telling you your'e being daft.

I don't have any racial problems Coco but I can't understand the hatred for him other than the fact that he's a Nigerian on the Chelsea board. I didn't say African, I said Nigerian, and the fact that there is a stigma around Nigerians as being dodgy, could be part of the reason, I don't know.

What I do know is,  he gets absolutely NO praise for our transfers that turn out well, but people are quick to sound him out when we buy a player who's rubbish. Look at the abuse he got from the Pedro signing as it looked like a bad move. As soon as we start doing well, the Emanalo thread goes quiet again.

I don't know what the reason is but you have to admit he is clearly a scapegoat when things go wrong at Chelsea.

I had to look up what xenophobic meant and  I think this is what it is. Unless you can explain to me why he never gets any credit and is labelled as the bad apple at Chelsea when no one really knows exactly what he does or is instructed to do.
