They have one attacking fullback who's 32 and looks way past it, that could cost them in the long run. Jose seems content with sticking to his old formation despite the change of the game. But I can only see teams doing what Stoke did two days ago, playing it down the middle all the time will be one dimensional, could really bite them back in the ass and Jose has to win it this season for me or at least must be up there. It's been near 5 years since United last won a title, their fans & board will be impatient. imo the media made Utd seem better than what they are. Their summer signings didn't address key issues at all, they merely replaced Zlatan and Herrera. Their CBs and FBs can be exploited and Stoke just showed the rest of the Prem the hint to breaking them down, whether the rest of the PL can follow suit however remains to be seen.

September 12, 20178 yr Celtic already down by 3 goals in halftime. Rodgers making a fool himself with his statements before this match.
September 12, 20178 yr Celtic going for the most UEFA fines ever as one of their supporters enters the field of play and tries to kick Mbappe. Numpty
September 12, 20178 yr Bit tougher when you're not in a 1-team league, isn't it Brendan? Edited September 12, 20178 yr by Zeta

September 12, 20178 yr I thought Barcelona will get weaker this season but here they are leading over Juventus. And Real Madrid are seventh in La Liga.

Numpty I know it's often said that there is always one idiot, but with Celtic, it tends to be a whole load of idiots every game for them. A bit like Millwall really, they just can't stop making a bad name for the club. Both clubs seem to attract asshole supporters.

I'm sure i read a couple of weeks back that they have had 16 fines since 2011. If that is true it will be 17 by this time next week. They are just a bunch of knobheads.
September 12, 20178 yr I think Juve may have underestimated Barca a bit just because they are painted in a turmoil. Almost the same boat as us really, people writing them off due to a bad window. Pogba's hamstring depending on how long he's out may cost Utd the league.
September 12, 20178 yr i don't think juve underestimated barca, i just think juve aren't the same. their team is aging and bonucci is a big loss for them.

I agree that they're aging but to put 36yr old Barzagli as starting CB against the likes of Suarez, Messi and Dembele and someone like Bentacur in midfield along with an ageing Matuidi playing in a 4231/433 doesn't seem like respecting Barca enough to me. I thought they'd go 352 and ground it out at the Nou Camp.
