September 15, 20178 yr Wenger thought the match would be postponed due to trouble and crowd disturbances and infiltration. Authorities apparently knew 20,000 would be coming though only about 3,000 had tickets. Interesting, I know little about Cologne though read they were getting over 40,000 when in the second tier of German football. Game kicked off at 9.10pm and Arsenal won 3-1, bet it was a cracking atmosphere by the end!

Here are some of their exploits
September 15, 20178 yr Koeman could be the next manager out. He spent a lot of money this summer and so far they look absolutely horrendous.
September 15, 20178 yr What's all this Kane Ballon d'Or business? Yes, he's a very good striker no doubt, but I don't see him streets ahead of Morata, Costa or even Lukaku. And then there's Aguero and so on. Couldn't possibly be yet more English hype from the English press could it? Edited September 15, 20178 yr by Snedger

He isn't going to win over the world and he isn't a technically good enough footballer on the pitch to win it. Yes he scores goals but will they ever be goals that matter?

They forget one thing, he hasn't won anything this year......scratch that, he hasn't won anything in his whole career so far. You would have to be an extra kind of special footballer to win it and at the same time not win anything for your club or country. He is probably in the top 10, but he's not ahead of Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard, Kante, Lewandowski, Modric and Aubameyang this year. The only way he will win it is if Tottenham pull off a miracle and win the Champions League. But even if they did achieve that then the inevitable sh*t England world cup will ruin any chance he has of winning it. Kane will never be Ballon d'Or winner at Tottenham. Once again, this is typical English media doing what they always do, getting way ahead of themselves when it comes to English players. Now that Gerrard has retired and Rooney is finished at the top level, they need to look for new English players to go crazy about.
September 16, 20178 yr Loftus Cheek and Fosu Mensah far too good for Palace. Really shows you just how good our youth and youth at other top clubs are.
September 16, 20178 yr Townsend is proper sh*te too. Remember when the Spuds compared him to Bale that season he left pmsl.

Fosu Mensah has actually been pretty sh*te himself for Palace to be honest. As for Loftus-Cheek, i think with the way it's going for Crystal Palace, it's going to be hard for him to make an impact on the league and push himself into Conte's plan's going forward. He needs to be in a better team than this or he will never get to show what he is capable of.

Just Palace's full backs are beyond sh*t so the CB's are covering for them the entire game.
September 16, 20178 yr Palace is in a real mess and Roy isn't the man to fix it I think but I could be wrong

No way does a Premier League player trump the big two in La Liga in Balon d'Or voting without winning at least 2 of league/CL/WC in a single season.
