Just saying.  If you act like a prick, people are going to think of you as a prick, so, even if you DID have anything insightful  to say, it would get ignored because most of what you have posted in your short time here has been confrontational and appears to brook no possibility that you might not be 100% right in every case.  That,  in my very humble opinion, is the action of a prick, but you carry on as you are mate.  We've seen the likes come and  we've seen the likes go.  The world still keeps turning.

Nice to see Southgate has been noticing him. Only one other youth player was invited to train (Gunn) who isn't in the England set up in some way already. 

Vitesse technical director Marc van Hintum has lavished praise on Chelsea loanee Mason Mount and believes the youngster has everything to have a great career. 

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder spent last season on loan from Chelsea at Vitesse and became the talk of the Eredivisie with his performances for the Dutch outfit.

He scored 13 goals, including a first hat-trick of his senior career, and provided ten more assists, making him one of the creative forces of the Dutch top tier in the just concluded campaign.

Mount is set to return to Chelsea with his reputation enhanced and Van Hintum believes there was no better midfielder in Dutch football last season than the young Englishman, not even Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech, who has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

The Vitesse technical director is certain that the midfielder has all the qualities needed to become an absolute super star in the world of football in the near future. 

“We were able to enjoy a great talent”, Van Hintum told Dutch daily De Gelderlander.
“At Ajax there are no better midfield players than him, no not even Ziyech.
“Mason has everything – the ability, dribbling skills, tactical flexibility, technique, depth and dynamism.
“He can press and has the ability to score, even with his head, has the right mentality and he is intelligent as well.
“He has all the attributes to have a top career and can really reach the top of the world.”

It remains to be seen whether Mount manages to become part of Chelsea’s first team squad next season or looks to move away on loan once more this summer.

Absolutely fantastic player.

I like Mount, he's a good player with a good future, but I don't wanjt to get carried away. The Dutch league is quite a poor standard, so I'd love to see him do what CHristesen did and go away to Germany for a year and see how he does in a better league.

Agreed about he should do a year or two in Germany. Worked wonders for Christensen and even KdB. He'll have Kante, Cesc, Bakayoko, RLC, Barkley and possibly a new signing ahead of him at Chelsea so it isn't worth bringing him back now.

Not sure about Germany, if he does go out on loan again and RLC stays with us I think Palace may be a good destination.

I just remember KdB having a fantastic season at Bremen and Wolfsburg. With him being of a similar mould it could be the making of him. Premier league loans are always risky, it'll either do him the world of good or he'll just sit on the bench all year. At least in Germany you'd imagine he'd be in the starting 11 of most teams bar probably Bayern/Dortmund/RB.

 

would've liked to see him in the squad for next year, but realistically wasn't ever going to happen, so I reckon this is the next best thing, him back with Jody and Lamps.

Thought he could have gone to a better side than the championship.

Should be a good move for him. Importantly he will play and learn about the physicality of the professional game.

+ learn from a Great Chelsea Legend in Frank Lampard - also Jody Morris will guide him again - win win all around IMHO

Honestly hoped he'd get a chance with the first team next season. But I heard Sarri isn't really a coach that gives youth a lot of playing time so this is probably the next best thing.

Sarri didn't at Napoli because there is no youth to speak of really. He plays who he thinks is the best, has played youth before. 

He doesn't tend to rotate teams though, mount wouldn't be good enough to get into the team

Mount at derby will be interesting, will now 100% be watching their games. 

I think we all could gave predicted this as soon as Lamps and Jody were appointed. No surprise that they have selected the best academy player on CFC books!

Hopefully this will be a really good move for all concerned.

I'm curious to see how this will work out. I have no idea what Derby's squad is like, anyone know if Mount has a good chance of becoming a starter?

It's Lamps's first job, so I wouldn't be too surprised if he opted for experience instead of youth when starting out. But again, I don't know Derby's squad and rate Mount highly so hopefully all will come good.

I don't think we would have agreed to send Mount there if we weren't confident of him playing regularly. 

Mount was one of Vitesse's best players last season so I see no reason why he shouldn't be starting for Derby and I can imagine Jody Morris being very confident in his abilities.
