100m on Bakayoko and Mahrez when Bayern have spent around £10 on 5 elite midfielders; Juventus peanuts on quality midfielders; Man City, yeah maybe 100m or so like us, but actually on good quality players.

Not sure why you are using Joe Cole as a pejorative... on his day Joe Cole was amazing. 

Lille had the privilege of these two fellas both in the same team. Imagine Joe alongside Eden when he was in his prime. 

Joe was a terrific player.

I prefer picturing Hazard and Mahrez in the same team next season, yes i still this it could happen.

He'll likely end up at City...

He doesn't have the off the ball workrate to be in the same side as Hazard. A little bit lazy, the pair of them.

Might work with three work-horse midfielders behind them, maybe... Kante, Nainggolan, and someone who's not Loftus Cheek or Bakayoko.

 

If he ends up in Man city as well just like Jorginho it's safe to say that Man city will defend their league title almost too easy.

Don't see why City needs Mahrez anyway, I know it's all about depth and another option, but they have got plenty already. Player like Mahrez used to play week in week out, not getting that will affect his performance. Last season all the players were cotend to play their parts to win the title, it will be different next season because every title winner believes he deserve a start, and a few may start throwing a bit of tantrums if they don't get what they want.

Based on faith, we have been absolutely blessed with success the past decade and more. Every season when we perform badly we bounce back stronger. When we missed CL football in 16/17 we became champs next season with utter ease. No worries man, have faith.

Pretty soon they are going to have to play 10 attacking players and a keeper to keep everyone happy 

Needless buy for City and Mahrez won't get the same playing time he had at Leicester. 

 He'd struggle to make the bench given the amount of AMs they have. He'sayer so used to be the first name on the team sheet, the squad player role will break up his rhythm. Against weaker teams, Pep will probably play some 235 system and throw all his AMs on to break down the defence.

I think he'll replace Sterling.

Might rotate with David Silva a bit. At 32 he isn't past it, far from it given his performances last season but might not be up to playing up to 60 games in a season anymore. 

Regardless it's a great signing for what is already a strong, strong squad.

Hopefully we can somehow capture Jorginho because if they land him to it's a squad and team I don't think can be stopped.

I really don't think he is a good enough player for a team in the top 6, I could be proven wrong but there is so much about his play and personality that just makes me think he won't succeed.
Good move for him though likely to get a few more trophies under his belt whilst getting a nice easy ride on the bench.

I also doubt whether he will be a success there too.

He is one of the top players in the league and already won with Leicester.

Why are we still talking about this guy. Can we move this thread or something?
