Best player on the pitch before Leicester got a player sent off today. He must have opened us up 5 or 6 times. He's exactly what we need in our squad. Sign him and play him with Hazard and Morata and i guarantee we will see changes to our goal scoring form.

It would have been hilarious hadn't it been that the AFCON has been moved to the summer break (june/july) starting with the next one which is in 2019.

Best player on the pitch yesterday. I have made jokes for sure but it’s clear now he would be an upgrade on willian/Pedro and he would certainly help our attack. Won’t happen, but I really do like the player

To be fair ambrosetti and gronkjaer would be upgrades on them right now too so...

Garbage imo.

Who would be a better signing. Mahrez or Sanchez. Its a hard one, i prefer Mahrez as a player, but Sanchez is more the sort of player we need right now.

Sanchez is the better player imo. Age, wage and character wise, mahrez is more sensible. That said, I’d be absolutely delighted with either but doubt we’re even in for them.

An agreement that we won't stand in his way has been in place for two years, but that doesn't mean we have to accept any offer. It has to be a substantial amount of money and inline with the current market. If someone wants to pony up £75m then the club will let him go.

Pesonally, I'd rather pay 30m for Sanchez than even 75m for Mahrez. Sanchez is the better player overall, Mahrez is inconsistent, he blows hot and cold. Yes, Sanchez'll probaly demand much higher wages, but if you add transfer fees plus wages plus agent fees you'll probably look at comparable amounts over the course of their contracts. The only edge Riyad has over Alexis is his age.

It was a bit tongue in cheek and more a comment on how quickly the market moves forward, whilst also setting the stall out for people to stop expecting us to accept a sh*tting offer just because Mahrez fancies a shot at playing somewhere else. Roma bid £17m in the summer FFS

Mahrez isn't actually as inconsistent as people think, you need to watch us week in week out to understand our and his issues. As a team our form has been so up and down the last few years, Mahrez gets affected by that. When the other 10 are off their game or not confident, the only chance Mahrez gets to do anything is on the half way line, with no support and surrounded by 5 players... he's good, but expecting him to produce from those positions all the time is ridiculous. His skills and ability always shine through, even if as a team we aren't putting him in the positions and situations he needs to be able to imapct the game. People see that as a Mahrez issue rather than a Leicester issue, which it actually is.

Somewhat like people doubting Hazard because your whole team was poor on Saturday and struggles to create situations for him to perform.
