Doesn't have to be the best player in the squad.
Just really simple, who do you like the most and why?
For me, it's Pedro. Big fan of him at Barca, over the moon when we got him (especially under United's nose) and is capable of producing an absolute screamer every now and then. Seems like a nice guy too. 
David Luiz is a close second though.

Courtois for me, just ahead of Alonso and Hazard.

Azpi. Works hard, reliable (ignoring a recent dip in form here), seems to love the club, great infectuous smile. 

Honourable mention for Moses, for finally getting his reward after all those loans. Poor chap even had to go to Liverpool!

Dave hands down. Works hard, very consistent, reliable and actually shows some passion.

The Kantes (all 7 of him) close second. 

Kante and Azpi. For me, a player that works for the team is always appreciated. 

Not saying that the rest don't pull their weight though, don't get me wrong.

 

Moses. Class player and nice bloke. 

Zappacosta looks like he could become a cult player at chelsea

Azpilicueta. He is the type of player that every club would love to have.

has to be luiz for me. I've always like his style of play and his personality is spot on.

Hazard > Alonso > Luiz > Morata > Pedro

Personality wise -Azpi

Pure skill alone has to be Eden 

and my rising star award for Christensen  Pure class

In terms of ability, consistency, his love for the club and personality, there is no other than Azpi.

I also like Luiz and Hazard

A lot of likeable players, Luiz & Cahill, Moses, Willian, Pedro, Batman and of coarse Hazard, but I would have to say Azpilcueta. I like Kenedy too, always rated him and think he's been given a bit of a raw deal.

In terms of academy players, I think I'm a bit obsessed with Hudson-Odoi. 

100% Dave. Loyal, consistent, lovable, professional, passionate yet level headed. Pretty much ticks every box for what an ideal player should be.

When I used to go it was Andy Townsend though now as a pundit he appears to be anti-Chelsea or is at least careful to never praise us.

Currently I think Rudiger as he at least shows passion and will let other players know if he is unhappy.
