Well don't know how many chances we have had to secure a top 4 spot over the last few weeks and we've blown them all. Surely this loss by Arsenal will provide some incentive for tomorrow; let's hope we don't chuck the opportunity away

Yeah, it's been incredibly frustrating. Pretty much every chance we have had we haven't taken.

enjoying Watford v Wolves - a decent cup tie so far

Interesting Wolves leading and then they substitute Jota and Neves shortly before conceding the penalty taking them into extra time.

Two cracking goals from Delofeu.

Seeing Watford come back from two down just might give them a chance against City.

Carragher saying Hazard is too good to stay at Chelsea, just f**k off you bell end, you wouldn't dream of saying that about Mane or Salah with Liverpool.

Let's hope we beat them Sunday, Ross Barkley free-kick would go down well.

I mean, he did say in the same conversation that he'd told Suarez that if he leaves Liverpool it should be for Real Madrid or Barca because he's too good for Arsenal.

He was essentially saying Hazard is so good he should be competing for major trophies every season.

And the truth is he hasn't been doing that for Chelsea, our seasons are so erratic, winning the league one year to finishing outside the top 4 the next.

I love how KDB  said f* Spurs' new Stadium, liked the guy even he's one of them now.

I love how some players are basically saying "yeah, they have a new stadium, so what"

Nobody outside of Tottenham gives a sh*t about their new stadium, I don't know why the media are even asking players from other clubs about it

That doesn't refute my statement about him.

I also don't disagree with him, I said it myself on his own thread, that Hazard could do better elsewhere and we hold him back. But it's just funny coming from Carragher because he wouldn't dream of saying it about Salah or Mane who both could be finishing the season with nothing again.

But even if those players win nothing they'll have run the league title race down to the last and had a good run in the European Cup.

Hazard hasn't been involved in a title race for two years now and hasn't been competitive in the Champions League for years now.

It's apples and oranges.

He also said good on CHO for standing his ground and if it was him he wouldnt sign a new contract. Not that long ago he was hammering Sterling for doing the exact same thing before his move to City, saying he was sickened and it was disrespectful to Liverpool. He`s a hypocrite and a f**kwit.

But Sterling was playing regularly for Liverpool having established himself in their first team.

CHO, despite the shortcomings of Willian and Pedro this season, hadn't been able to get himself any decent playing time.

I don't agree with everything Carjacker says but can understand the arguments he's put forward.

What?? if they finish 2nd and trophyless this season they've won nothing... Meanwhile, Hazard has 2 league titles, 2 F.A. Cups, a league cup and a Europa League to show for his tenure at Chelsea, that's not bad silverware at all.

Mane and Salah can do better than Liverpool (if Liverpool bottle it again this season), and I can bet you a million quid if they win absolutely nothing and Barca, Madrid, Bayern and PSG are offering big money for them, there's no way Carragher will be saying "They can do better than Liverpool".

Whereas Hazard has actually won trophies here, it isn't out of the realms of possibility that he can win another league title or even a Champions League if he stays, we've been a bipolar side, we finished 10th one season then won the league the next, compare that to a team who's last trophy was a League Cup in 2011 and haven't won a league title in almost 30 years.

Good point about Hazard winning trophies here compared to the Liverpool players.

For me Hazard playing requires two other fast front players in the modern game, we currently don't have them and facing a transfer ban at the wrong time for Hazard's career.

Carragher does a lot of selective outrage. I'll never forget when he slagged chelsea for our firing and hiring cycle but used the same argument to defend arsenal firing wenger. In his words "they aren't ruthless enough" as a club. I don't like Neville or most pundits on sky sports but at least he's consistent in his points regardless of the team. Carragher on the other hand is a hypocrite and changes his words depending on which team is doing well/team he  likes

Sp*rs v citeh has been fcuking tedious...new ground hasn't made a difference to atmosphere...sp*rs fans barely making a sound. On plus side for us in top four race, looks like Kane might be out for a few games, if not the season.
