Not impressed with Pulisic tonight. He didn't look like a £60m player to me, far from it.

He's not a £60 million player though. Just like 19 year old Dembele wasn't worth £100m when Barca signed him. At least for Pulisic we are buying a player with high marketing value. At 20 years old he at leasthas some scope to improve.

Credit to Spurs, they have managed to sign some real gems like Son, Alderwiereld, Eriksen etc over the years.

At least our lot can say they have won something though. Tottenham have huffed and puffed and ended up empty every season.

Definitely, I would take our position over the last 4-5 years compared to Spurs. I just think our signings have been utterly dreadful and just plain embarrassing.

City might pay big money but they at least buy good players for it, we've bought some utter crap in the past few years.

I can't deny that. We still spend big money, but a lot of it is spent on poor to average players.

Big frustration for me has been buying players that an academy player could have been used for. The likes of Zappacosta, Drinkwater, Michy B.

Don't buy anyone one of those and use a youth player instead and there’s another £20m we could have used for buying a top quality first team player. Suddenly you’re not buying a Bakayoko or Morata and hoping they come good but spending the extra for more proven quality.

With a couple of them it might be only time before we get most of our money back like Bakayoko that used to be on everyone's failed list and Bats might fall into that category.

Zappacosta is our only right back cover currently so if nothing else provides cover.

Drinkwater hasn't played much though think being friends with Kante came into consideration, at that time big clubs were getting interested in Kante.

at least we won trophies with "crap" players, including the PL ... What have they won ? Fcuk all indeed... But anyway, I think barcelona and either of Juve and ATM have a huge chance to win it. City might be there for the taking too. Can only hope now that dortmund pull off a remontada ...

I'm surprised they knew who to attack, they were all wearing the same clothes

I thought the same when I saw a video of Shakhtar Donetsk fans fight Die Eintracht Frankfurt fans in Kharkiv

btw the meltdown on gooner fan tv has commenced & it's a barrel of laughs
