I'm pretty sure that people here know that I like Jorginho... So no I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just like to defend the vice-captain from baseless agenda-driven bullsh*t takes. In a way it's a reaction of something that already exists, I wouldn't need to say much at all if there wasn't an agenda towards Jorginho, shocking I know.

So you do have an agenda. Since you feel the need to say things and change perceptions. Right?

A lot of mental gymnastic needed in order to strech that it's an agenda to support Chelsea players. A more obvious thing to do in a Chelsea forum in comparison to the very opposite, no?

Oh. I didn't realize the comment about the terrible first touch by Mount was you supporting Chelsea players. I apologize and will stop my mental gymnastics immediately, since I'm the one applying them. 🤪

You're just trying to spin things around. In the end of the day me saying how it was a terrible first touch without knowing that the ball deflected is an innocent comment out of frustration and nothing in comparison to what I have read on this thread where people tried to undermine Jorginho regardless of what happened in a game. But I guess you would prefer that I post here how Rice is the best midfielder in the league and then in Mason Mount thread how De Bruyne is so much better than him and so on and so on?

You see your ideal version of supporting our players is clearly not the same as mine and as much as I don't care about your opinion I do see that what we disagree upon is important for us and as long as those disagreements really are that important I don't see why I should stop defending Jorginho and stop supporting our players. Now if you see that as having an agenda, that's your problem.

That's not what happened. Somebody posted a video with a very good pass by Jorgi and commented that the chance was squandered by Mount. You then piled on by saying Jorgi was robbed of an assist because of Masons terrible first touch until somebody else corrected you.

The rest of your text is some rubbish about my opinion on Rice when I never even once mentioned him in this thread or on this forum, something about De Bruyne and then a whole paragraph about what my ideal version of supporting our players is. Those are all strawmen because you can't actually argue the point about your ridiculous opinion that there's an "agenda 100%". There isn't. People criticize Jorgi because he has very obvious shortcomings, some are harsh but that's normal. Stop being paranoid.

If it were him that put it on a plate for Grealish, or him that put in such a feeble tackle to try and stop KdB, we know a few would be on here giving Jorgi a big earful.

So apparently Jorginho went to holiday and was immediately found on a dating app. f**king hell Jorginho. We don't need these extra things around the team.

It was just @Gol15 living out a fantasy - I think we’ve messed up his head!

Did you get a date @Sindre?

Nope, but heard @just had a great time 😉

Few more rumours popping up the Jorgi has told the club as well as TT he will not be signing a new deal and wants to return to Italy.

Those rumours are saying he feels he has completed his mission at Chelsea with the Europa league and CL victories.

We are said to be considering whether to let him leave for free and keep him one more season or get some sort of fee for him this summer.

Juventus is keen on getting him and we could use the money for De Jong or Tchouameni.

I think an exit is on the cards for him as well. The club will only offer him a two-year extension and I think he could easily get a lucrative four-year contract at Juventus or one of the Milano clubs.

Same goes for Kante really. He's 31 and will he accept a two year deal when he could get a more lucrative deal at PSG for example? If he doesn't accept a short-term deal he would have to be moved on in the summer as well considering his contracts runs out in 2023.

Our squad will look significantly different in 2023 without Kante and Jorginho in the midfield.

I think it's always a good idea to try and freshen up the team every few years regardless.

If there's a chance of letting someone like Jorginho or Kante go for a decent fee and bringing in someone like Declan Rice I think it'sa good move.

Oh, you are going to get pummeled for this one.

Possibly.

He's still an immense talent, absolutely no question about that.

My worry is that he is increasingly having lengthy spells out of the team due to various injuries.

He missed 16 league games in 19/20 season, 8 last season and 9 so far this season (33 league games missed in the last two and a half seasons).

Of the 62 league appearances he made during that period 12 have been as a substitute meaning he's started 40 league matches in two and a half seasons.
