I would give Morata one go.........I have him in my Fantasy Football team and can't make anymore transfers so I need him to start

What on earth possessed you to do that?

We will have three games in a space of eight days.

Cardiff 15th September

PAOK 20th September

West Ham 23 September.

We should heavily mix the team against PAOK, to keep the lads fresh for West Ham who even tough in terrible form will surely give us problems. Players like Ampadu, Christensen, Zappacosta, Emerson, Barkley, Hudson etc should all get play time if not start the game. They should be good enough too see our group off. Leave the big guns on the bench in case things don't go our way.

Ha ha ha!  that has to be one of the most silly statements I've seen in here for many a long year, and really did make me laugh out loud.  It is really up there with @Nibs saying that there really WAS a great striker in Kezman, we just had to be patient.

Its more related to what he offers over Pedro.

Willians decision making, footballing intelligence, crossing and end product are all questionable.

He runs down far too many blind alleys and stops more counter attacks from taking too much out of the ball or missing a pass than he helps out with.

Theres no question in my mind, considering the pros and cons of both, that I'd start Pedro over Willian every game.

Always risky business rotating in the league as many teams have found out to their detriment. I’d rather stick with a strong 11 and take a couple off after 60 mins to give the others a run out. Also with PAOK coming up there should be plenty of game time for everyone.

Looking forward to this one. My first visit this season ,got a good seat in the East Stand Upper . Not really bothered Willian/Pedro  Luiz/Christiensen  etc but I hope there is a really strong referee for this one, Cardiff can get a bit physical . Just hope its not Pawson ...lol.

A win will give us a good lift for the forthcoming West Ham ( hope they do not do a Crystal Palace on us !!) and Liverpool matches not to mention maintaining our 100% start.

PAOK away is the big game of this group. Win there and we can start rotating a lot. But we should go there with a strong team to give ourselves that option later.

There has been some progress in implementing video assistant referee (VAR) in the Premier League, as Sky Sports is reporting that up to 15 league games will include the use of a trial VAR this season. One of 5 fixtures to host the new system on the weekend after the international break will be Chelsea’s game against Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge.

For now, it will merely be a simulated, “as-live” scenario which will be replicated in the VAR match centre, meaning that neither will the actual referee be able to utilize VAR nor will the ones in the VAR room itself be able to interact with the game. The aim is simply to figure out whether or not the one match centre can cope with multiple games simultaneously before fully implementing the system in the 2019-20 season.

You gotta take risks with Fantasy Football.......or maybe I'm just insane

I put him in my Sun Dream Team because he was only £3.5m. For the sake of comparison - Kane/Salah were £8m each. It didn't seem like a huge risk considering he's likely to start more or less every game if fit.

I rate both Luiz and Willian but they could do better imo.Luiz must cut out the slack passing sometimes and Willian needs more end product.Giroud needs to start as Morata has been poor.Pedro has an eye for goal at the moment so i expect him to start.Alonso pushing up gives us a big threat around the box.Plenty of positives so far and very entertaining.

I'm another who can't stand these International breaks.

Real football will return when we start playing again next Saturday.

Just my humble opinion.

Old Git that I am.

I'm very young, and I'm vehemently opposed to international breaks :angry037:

We gotta make sure this is 3 points.

However we should be able to do that with rotation.

Kepa

Zappa Cahill Christensen Emerson

Jorginho RLC barkely

Pedro Giroud Hazard

I am loathed to leave alonso out but looking to play the long game for the season.

Sevan out of eleven changes in a Premiership game, tell me your having a larf.

And quite rightly (is 'rightly' actually a word ?) too.::clap2::

Back in that season we never had international breaks. !

Don’t think we should rotate in the league. We will do that in Europe and the domestic cups. Start the usual 11 against Cardiff and look to make some changes for PAOK.

I have complete confidence that side would get the job done. At the end of the day if they are not good enough to be trusted against Cardiff at home why are they here?

Hazard will be too much for them.

What season??? Good to see Ersk, promoting 'that season' not just on the vintage thread, "Jonny Neal's blue and white army"

I reckon Sarri will want to keep the momentum going and won't change too much. There's nothing better for a team than churning out the wins on the bounce.
