Southampton V Chelsea (PL) Sun 7th Oct 14:15 UK

I still have this illusion that this is still one of the tougher games in the league outside facing another one of the big 6 teams (I guess the scars of them rolling us over a few years ago are still there) the reality is on paper that they're pretty sh*te and we should win this pretty comfortably if the attitude's right. I don't expect many of out starting line up in this match to feature against Vidi so we should be well rested for this one, no excuses not to get 3 points here and get back to winning ways.

COME ON CHELSEA!!!!

We can win this. One of these days Morata is going to have a streak. It was interesting to hear Sarri publicly saying after the Liverpool game that he thought Morata was more aggressive in the Liverpool game than usual. I agree and I have some hope. Only hope though, that he can still get 15 goals this season.

Next five fixtures for us:

Southampton (A)

Man Utd (H)

Burnley (A)

Crystal Palace (H)

Everton (H)

Honestly, I believe we can achieve at least 13 points from those games. If we can beat Utd, then 15 points from all five. Palace would have been a tougher game if we had to play them away, but at home it's a winnable game. We will also continue to improve week by week, so the kinder fixtures for us in the next few weeks is better for our development.

Could be 5th by the time we kick off with Spurs and Arsenal playing before us both with easy games......so to keep in touch with the front runners 3 points would be appreciated before everyone buggers off for yet another useless, pointless, international break.

Liverpool vs City is right after this fixture. A win is pivotal here. I would love to see us winning this comfortably then to watch the game after with a pint of beer at the pub.

We don't win this one, we go for one 1 month drought in PL.

Our next game after Southampton is against a fractious, underperforming Man U side.

However, Jose will definitely try to park the bus at the Bridge after seeing our display versus Liverpool and watching West Ham succeed in doing it.

Didn't even realise there was another f**kin international break, bollocks.

This. But wont be able to stomach the pundit love fest that will go with it.

Just heard a disturbing stat from Ian Darke in the UEL match, Chelsea haven't won in their last 9 matches after a European match - this will be something to look at in this match

Hazard plays well we win. If not we dont.

Call me crazy/deluded/lunatic (and you'd have every right to call me so) but I have a weird gut feeling that we might, might end up winning the PL undefeated. I don't know why, I don't know how, but I have this feeling that we might not lose a single PL game this season. Yes, this is absolutely nonsensical, illogical, plus it is very early in the season and our team has already shown weaknesses. But, regarding how sarriball transformed our way of playing despite our recurring problems upfront (end product mostly) and believing that Sarriball will be close to perfect in 2 months time since it's already shown to be pretty efficient in such a short period of time, I believe that the more time passes the better we will be and we might, I emphasise again on might, win the PL undefeated... Or I've probably gone crazy I guess :laugh2:!! Supporting Chelsea for more than 20 years (since childhood basically) might not be that good to mental health haha ! But I can't help but have this gut feeling! Funnily enough, I did not have such a feeling in 2004/2005 although we came very close to do the same as the draw merchants arsenal of 2004 haha !

Would be something special though am hoping you have not just jinxed us against Southampton...lol

Tough opponent, but we are the better team, with a better quality. We're still dreaming about title hopes, let's keep that thing running!

I'd like to see this starting lineup:

------------- Kepa ---------------

Azpilicueta - Rudiger - Luiz - Alonso

----------- Jorginho -------------

----- Kante ---------- Kovacic -----

Pedro ------ Morata ------ Hazard

* Morata has scored a goal, it might be another push for him to succeed. Even though I'm against him and wanting him to leave.

COME ON CHELS!!!!!!!
