I’d argue we are only pretty desperate for a top cm who can tackle. That said, we can definitely upgrade gk and striker.

Does anyone take these little speeches seriously? They are PR puff pieces aimed at fans of the new club. Is he going to say he wasn't consistent enough to hold down a spot? Move on.

Both sides of this move are handling it with their characteristic amounts of grace. 

Christian who? can't remember a player from the states wearing the CFC jersey with pride or determination... Who was he? how long was he at the club for and how much was he worth?
