Him and Havertz are really starting to come good as part of the front three. Both are startinf to score in games.

He still dribble too much and hold onto the ball too long for my liking.

But yeah, good day on the pitch for Pulisic today.

Playing in his best position has really improved his form.  

It would appear TT now has a preferred front 3 with CP replacing Werner form last years one. Now will be interesting if Ziyech gets back in ahead of either Mount or CP.

That and a run of constant starts. I hope he continues starting him as he needs that continuity to score/assist. I reckon he needs to bring back Ziyech on the right, and go with Havertz spearheading our attack for the next 5 games. Mount needs dropping into a deeper role.

Ziyech is awful on the left, and Mount needs to be played deeper for me.

Agree on Mount. However if Ziyech came in for CP likely Mount would go to the left side.

Why ?

Ziyech was very good recently only because he was playing as rw in 4141/442.

His dribbling is fine. What you want is for puli to stop dropping, he need to play as high as possible.

Hit the nail on this one. Pulisic is too hardworking in some moments where he drops as deep as the defensive midfield line. 

I have noticed since the Club World Cup final he has been doing this really. But I actually think it suits him, he gets more touches on the ball early and gets a feel for the game. And has more confidence when he's attacking the box. With regular game time he seems to be scoring and assisting quite regularly.

Ball security is not his best strength. He need to be in position where he can just go at defender without risking our defense when he lose the ball.

Also one of his strengths is on the counter attack.  So it suits him to be in a position to take part in a quick counter.  

That said I'm guessing that his positioning has to do in part with what the manager wants him to do as well.  Considering Tuchel keeps playing him I have to think that he's doing what is being asked to do.  

So I would say his defensive positioning is more of a question of what Tuchel wants from him more than what Pulisic has decided to do.

His defensive positioning is fine. My point is more on what happen when we have the ball. He need to stay high between the line and wait there. Let our wb and midfield feed you the ball. It is normal to drop from time to time but do it very sparingly.

Definitely, he's much better being level with the shoulder of defenders than dribbling in front of them

Nah that sounds made up. He’s injured so often it makes him sick!

Sounds like there is a bug going around the locker room.  Stomach virus perhaps.  Pulisic had it during the last match against Norwich and Azpi started coming down with symptoms during the match and that is why he was subbed off.

Just had it myself out of nowhere,.think its going around, so stay safe people.
