January 5, 20197 yr As the old saying goes “If you’re good enough, you’re old enough”. Hudson-Odoi May be only 18 but he doesn’t look out of place in the team. He looks exciting and positive whenever he’s got the ball. A front three of CHO, Hazard and Pedro might be the way forward with CHO on the left and Hazard through the middle.

We are desperate for goalscorers, I don't think I have ever seen it this bad at the club. You take Eden out and our forward line is just pathetic......either old or average.

The midfield 3 aren't offering enough going forward, same old passing sh*te except for Cesc, Barkley playing in 'safe' mode so everything going sideways, Ampandu is at least trying in parts...Luiz is spending more time in the middle than in the back 4.

January 5, 20197 yr it's very evident from this match that Barkley doesn't have the footballing brain to perform at the highest level. dude's so slow at making decision, hell even Ampadu decides faster than him, and he only been started playing professionally for some times. how he's able to keep his pecking order for the CM position in front of RLC (as can be seen in this match where he's moved to RW) is beyond me

We're playing a B-team and it looks like it. A lot of passing around, no penetration, and when we do get through some muppet goal-keeper has the match of his life. (Apparently this is the second gaem of a lifetime this one has had against us, was keeper for Bradford some years ago as well) Morata can't buy a goal. Or a free kick, it seems. Callum's been OK but nothing special, I' ve been impressed with Ampadu, and Emerson has shown why he is behind Alonso again. Not going tp say anything much about RLC except it was a peformance of mixed quality, sometimes he looks like a genuine talent, and a couple of times he looked a bit like me playing. AND, as I type that, CHO steps up and does something to justify all the hype. Edited January 5, 20197 yr by yorkleyblue
January 5, 20197 yr That is more like it, excellent cross from Husdon-Odoi, and a simple finish for Morata.
January 5, 20197 yr That is gotta be the first time in a while since we managed to put a decent cross !!! And it came from CHO !!! Get in !!
