Whist i wouldn't be against this, i would actually like us to try to bed Emerson in to the L role on a full time basis.

In fact if it were me, especially with current injuries I would also try RLC up top for a decent period of time and i would play CHO as a regular starter as well. But these managers are too worried about losing their jobs, although the reason escapes me, as they all seem to get millions in pay offs when they do get sacked.

RLC is injured now - dude limped off in the First half

Morata has the demeanour of a man who knows his time with us is up.

Everyone in the audience had that demeanor, or did was it my tv that broadcast the applause a bit reluctantly when he went off?

I’m still struggling to wrap my head around what it is exactly that we’re meant to be doing or aspiring to be doing to open teams up?

We have the ball a lot. Rüdiger and Luiz exchange a few passes amongst themselves. Occasionally we’ll pass it back to Kepa. Then Jorginho gets it and plays a one two with Kante, then it goes back to Luiz then it goes to a fullback who gives it to Jorginho who gives it to Rüdiger who gives it back to Jorginho. He then passes to Willian who runs sideways past a couple of players and then gets tackled, he throws his hands up in the air whilst Kante retrieves the ricochet. He then plays it to Jorginho who plays a one two with Barkley (who apparently now is only capable of passing backwards, sideways or falling over). Jorginho gives it to Alonso who plays a five yard backward pass to Hazard who then attempts to dribble through the entire opposition defence, loses and we then scramble back in a mad panic whilst our opponent bypasses the entire team in two quick passes. Dave puts in a tackle and then the whole process starts again.

Fabregas has been an excellent signing overall. The best passer of a ball I have seen at the club.

Best passer I have seen in the PL. Going back from his Arsenal days, his passing has been sublime. His assists reflect that.

The Telegraph is saying we are looking to Barella to replace fab and stepping up the higuainthing. Incredibly I can watch the french cup on tv in Australia but not the fa cup.

I know this is of Topic but why the f**k are we loaning Tammy Abraham to Wolves. He is obviously not going to be a starter with the  way the wolves and Jiminez are flying right now. I would rather he be on our bench instead of wolves or actually him just scoring goals for Villa.

For whatever reason the game wasn't shown anywhere here, nor were any other FA Cup games?

I'm reading very positive things about Ampadu's performance. Anyone care to share a bit more detail?

Much needed win over shadowed by the departure of Cesc and injury to RLC, which looked like a long term. Even in his last game, Cesc showed what we will be missing for the rest of the season and beyond, those floating long passes from deep, sharp short passes in the final third and his aura/calmness on the field. CHO was the best player on the field, dare I say he's the best crosser in the team right now, just beat his man and whips the ball in, way more effective than 20 short passes from side to side.

Probably one of the best, he also understands the Sarri's tactic maybe the best along side Jorginho,Pedro from the midfield.

Watching BBC coverage this evening and noticed the commentator which I thought was Jonathan Pearce questioning the refs decisions against us.

Hudson-Odoi - very good crossing and just what Giroud and Morata need to score for us. Shame we haven't seen that before from him yet that's the first time I have seen him play on the right.

I put a £1 bet on for Gillingham, Bristol City and Portsmouth to win- won £45.

Apart from a few misplaced passes early on he was brilliant for me. Worked hard, put in some great challenges to win the ball and was good with the ball at his feet too. I love this bloke and I’m not afraid to say it!

Hazard played as a man saving himself. Morata as a man who did not want to be playing for us.

Cesc as a man saying goodbye to a club that will always be a home to him.

CHO loved those crosses. Bot had a player on the right who could cross in ages. Good game.
