Sorry axman but @Dean was right. I am prescribing another course of "positivity" therapy for you to start immediately.

If you continue any further down the grim, dark path you are continually seeing in your head we are all worried you will live up to your username and become an ax murderer.

Spot on, we consistently made it into the top 4 in the last 5-10 years, whether it was done on the last day or a game to spare was irrelevant, there's always tough competitions for the spot. On occasions we failed to make it into the top 4, we won the league then the Europa league. How many English teams won the Europa league after us? The cool trend here is people blame Roman for the last 5-10 years for this season's fark up, and give Boehly a free pass because he got good intentions or he's here to build something. Let's not kid ourselves, we were never remotely close to this bad under Roman, especially not after 600M on transfer, and god knows how much to sack the managers

I'd like to see those posts that are giving Boehley a " free pass' ?

There are lots of ways to score goals yet you have to mix it up or the opposition will be wise to it.

Set pieces always offer chances and we seem very poor at converting, the last goal like that I remember was a header when Fofana first played for us. Part of it is the delivery and the other part is reading the flight of the ball.

Crosses, crosses from James often provided chances and occasionally with other players like CHO. This would need the right sided layer to break the defensive line and look up before crossing. Can also happen on the left side too.

Other moves with vertical passes and running midfielders to break the lines and create shooting opportunities or one-twos to get into the box.

Of course effective pressing can cause the opposition to lose the ball in dangerous areas offering chances.

Lastly a forward player on the shoulder of the last defender waiting for the right ball over the top.

Variety is good but you need to do what you are good at.

What are we good at?

Whatever happened to the multi-club model they spoke about? I know they tried buying a French & a Portuguese club and have been knocked back, seems to have gone all quiet. They seem to have put the cart before the horse with some of their signings, I still can’t see a viable developmental plan for the likes of Datro Fofana, Slonina, Chukwuemeka, Andre Santos & Casadei. They will end up just loaning them out to random clubs & hope for the best.

PS. They also just signed a 15yr old Ecuadorean wonder kid for a fee up to £17.5m.

And we have a mismatched squad built over several managerial generations so not sure at all.

This is an interesting read allegedly from an inside source.

The Jorginho exit has made things worse as he spoke to the team in several languages, Silva for example is struggling with English.

Lack of leaders in the dressing room

Frank has 30 players arriving for training.

The squad is so large when they go for lunch they have queues in the corridor for the first time ever.

Nothing new, some a beat up. Silva's English is getting better but speaks French anyway, communication not a problem, half the defence are French speakers.

30 players have been arriving for training since the last transfer window. Potter was faced with two separate practice matches - 11v11 and 9v9 - on adjoining pitches to accommodate everyone let alone them queuing for lunch.

All hail TB's insane buying madness.

I don't think either Frank or Ashley speak French yet agree other players do as long as they are willing to communicate the bosses instructions.

News coming out of the club the feeling inside the club is all time low. We need a complete restart. It is hard to see us getting more than 3-5 points.

Hardly news is it. We know there's something seriously up with the team.

I would say we are probably the worst-performing team in the league right now even including the relegation teams. It's not even normal.

Southampton turned up against Arsenal and put 3 past them, the worst team in the league, whereas we're going to roll over and give Arsenal their easiest game of the season.

“ Give Boehly a free pass just because he’s got good intentions “

What D’you propose? Nailing him to the cross?

Find it hilarious how many of our our so called fans ( many on here have never even set foot in the Bridge) are getting their knickers in a twist because we are underperforming.

As Blue is the Colour Said “ Cheer us on through the sun and rain”

If your not able to accept the bumps in the road f**k off and support someone else

Blaming Roman for this season would be wrong, as would suddenly pretending a period we were breaking transfer records on Lukaku and Kepa was signs of an excellently run club.

Boehly could take us the national league and I'd still be critical of decisions like that.

Yeah and now apparently we've got to figure out a way around the rules about buying the kid.

Can't even remember what the issue is , but there's always a circus around everything we do

The development path doesn't seem clear does it, you would hope it's mapped out or planned but I'm not confident in anything at the moment
