Politics on all sides are full of the worst people. Taking Chelsea from Abramovich was just a way to say "f**k you" to Putin. Nobody gives a f**k about Ukraine really, they just hate Putin. Ukraine, Russia, the US, the UK, Canada, China, they are all under control of the worst and most corrupt monsters that bring pain and misery to the world. This is why I don't do any of the left and right bullsh*t, it's exactly what these politicians want. It's sad that people have been covinced that the likes of Biden, Tredeau, Zelinsky etc are all good people fighting against the tyranny of Putin. They're not though, they are scum, just as much as Putin.

Abramovich was being unfairly targeted by the British GOV for years, FIFA and UEFA themselves. This club was always under target, meanwhile, City's owners are sat there having talks with Assad and run legislations for a country with one of the worst human rights records and what does the British Government do about them? All these investigations will mean sweet f**k all.

It was just a huge double standard and basically "Our dictators are okay but yours are bad"

They've already invested a truckload into the team, I highly doubt protests will get them out. And even if fans manage to do that, Clearlake isn't going to write off the debt like Roman did so whoever comes is going to have to pay it off or buy a club in massive debt. Basically, we are currently in a catch 22 situation and all fans can do is hope things turn around.

Things are not going to turn around with Boehly in charge. I can`t believe there are still people here who think this is possible. Boehly has bad-mouthed the previous administration and said that European sports is 15 years behind American sports. He replaced almost every Chelsea employee with his people. He replaced almost the entire squad. We are on the 4th manager since he took over. Chelsea has becoming a laughing stock. The worst run football club in the world. Clueless transfer policy. Horrible manager selections (Potter, Lampard and Poch FFS) and no signs of anything improving. They destroyed almost everything Roman built and replaced it with a pile of dog sh*t. f**k these people

I hear you, I think the first 5 months at the club was absolutely horrific on the owners part, and it's ageing terribly even now. I think they've made some good transfers though even though the results are saying different.

I do think we need to give it more time first, at least let the season play out before we start. I know we've spent a lot of money and it just looks embarrassing, our rivals are loving it, the media are loving it, but you just have to zone out for the time being. At the end of the day, significant investment has been made and it's very early days.

Sometimes I even go "f**k me a billion spent and this is it??" But context is important, these players are young and raw, they can come good, there are many injuries, and again, it's still very early days. If it's April time and we're still just off relegation, then definitely, I'll hold my hands up.

Off topic but during the EA FC player card ratings reveal, it was quite humorous seeing some of our players feel they deserved to be rated higher.

Sorry, you deserve to be rated what? Higher? You lot are lucky you aren't silver cards!

The EA analysts clearly have access to better data than our recruitment team are using !

Winstanley and Stewart must have some fairly sweaty palms by now ...

Let's not kid ourselves. Todd took over a gaping wound that was plastered by Roman. Roman left us with so many great memories but a squad that lacked quality and needed a rebuild. It's strange because yes we won the Champions League but that amazing summer where we signed Havertz, Werner and Ziyech was meant to turn us into an attacking force like Liverpool and City. All 3 failed and we've been messing up in the transfer window ever since. You would've thought Roman leaving would've forced us to sell all of our players looking at the table now. We only lost Rudiger. Fingers crossed that we can turn it around under Pochs Management.

Biggest load of BS ive ever heard. The last few years with Roman we won the champions league and finished in the top 4 both years. He was a serial winner and Chelsea would have bounced back to win more trophies or the very least compete at the highest level in the future.

We are way worse now than Roman, with a strategy doomed to fail, downgraded in all department from players through to the backroom staff through to the incompetent directors. Chelsea will be languishing mid to bottom of the table with Boehly in charge, I can see relegation.

For most of us, being that incompetent would result in being fired.

How much money we have paid for complete dog sh*t it’s unbelievable.

Finished top 4 (just about) and were miles off winning the league and hadn't challenged for years. The Champions League papered over the cracks. We are worse now yes.

As recent as 21/22 we were seen as genuine title challengers. And we were as we were top of the league until December until we got hit with more sh*t in six months than we've possibly ever been hit with. Players and staff didn't even know they had a club to play for next season so we fell off but no injury crisis and no sanctions/chaos and we could have been crowned Champions about a year ago.

No they’re not. Look at Southend right now for example.

We also won the league twice in the last decade under Roman. We then finished 10th under Jose ffs. After winning the league too. How did we go from winning the league to finishing 10th the following season? I'd love to know. This sh*t is not our first rodeo, it's happened before with better players. The question is, why?

Nah, didn't you hear? The club was rotten under him in the final few years 😐

Unsustainable apparently..for 20 years. Its so much better now under Gilette and Hicks, oops sorry, Boehly and Eghbali.

It's been like this for almost a full year now, it's never been this bad. Under Abramovich, we were asking "why can't we compete for League titles consistently?" Now we are asking "why does it look like we could get relegated?".........there is a world of difference with these issues. We have never looked this bad in the Premier League era.

He will be sh*tting himself for tomorrow’s ‘Chelsea Project’ stand-up Teams meeting with the Gaffer at Clearlake that’s for sure. 😅😂

Not when he tells them half the Roster is on the IR surely!

The squad didn't need a rebuild, it was already in the middle of one. It needed patching in certain areas. What the new owners have done is ripped apart the club, from players, to coaches, to board members, right down to the people we rarely see, like the groundsman.

The massive amounts of changes throughout the club in such quick time has clearly done serious damage to it. The only thing that remains is the fans, but the club we support feels alien.

But we're truly fcked now. This continues to go t*ts up and its all over. They've already spent so much that I doubt the club is a saleable asset at this point. This feels like we really are in the sh*t or bust zone now.

We had an awful squad when Roman left. Yes it won the champs league, but every player that our new owners kicked out has stunk up the place at their new club.

The issue is clearly we've gone all in on this model of buying top prospects and it's just not paying off.

Truthfully I don't know what I would suggest in hindsight they should have done instead. I like our squad, it's balanced, it has potential, but it's not clicking.

The most likely answer is that some Russian cursed us when Roman left and we are destined to suffer for the next 10 years.

Yeah that's true, we look atrocious. But the quality is still there. I do think we've been unfortunate with injuries for whatever reason. We haven't had a consistent first 11 since Potter took over. We have also never been through a period of transition like this. We've had the luxury during roman's reign of being at the top for so long. I still think Roman made some poor decisions over the last decade that led to problems in the squad. The signings of Bakayoko, Barkley, Drinkwater, Batshuayi, etc was awful. Go back to Jose's second stint at the club and Roman and Co signed the likes of Dilidiboji (not sure of the name) and Hector as acceptable signings. Even Jose was pissed off at those signings.

This isn't a dig at you, because I get the reasoning of your argument, but I just dontvagree with this narrative.  Roman didn't leave, he was forced out and had the club taken away from him. In fact the UK government started this two years earlier with bouncing his visa so he could no longer reside here. The sanctions were the final nail in coffin. The club had previously stated that they were actually on a programme towards self sustainability and Roman had announced a massive rebuild of SB having got planning permission.

So even putting to one side the glittering array of trophies, the most successful English club for twenty years, and teams full of players that form the cornerstone of the standards the everyone  holds the PL to nowadays, putting all that to one side, people posting comments like Roman continued to be the oligarch throwing his roubles around as each whimsy took him, running the club into the ground, is grossly unfair for a man who wasn't even allowed to reside in the country where his business was operating.
