As good as Gusto has looked at times, he's still a mixed bag. Palmer is the only true quality young player we have signed that we can be certain is going to be a great player.
April 23, 20242 yr Let's see the magic Boehly wants to pull with player sales come season end. All well and good when you're trying to flog good established professionals. Let's see the magic with the so called cream of talents he has assembled.
April 23, 20242 yr I'm starting to wonder if it's the board that is picking the lineups! Surely a professional football manager doesn't put Basiashile in over Silva against title contenders away!
April 23, 20242 yr Periodic reminder that every humiliation we have suffered over the past two years is entirely the responsibility of the charlatans in charge of the club.
April 23, 20242 yr We have really gone about restructuring and rebuilding the team ambitiously but in a very foolish way.

We have no decent cover for Gusto, we have waited for James and still not clear if he will ever play again.
April 23, 20242 yr I said it at the time to the people who wanted the so call dead wood out these dicks will f**k everything up. You don’t rip and replace a team overnight it’s dumb, stupid and never been done before. Why do these 🤡s think they could make it work absolute idiots.
April 23, 20242 yr These dickheads will be a University case study without doubt on how to ruined a successful business/sports teams in 18 months.
April 23, 20242 yr Look forward to see the usual positive spins on how the ownership's experiment is working, and we should forget about the results😎 We get what we deserved, the clowns bet everything on potential future growth, and now we are sh1t on the field and couldn't stay out of trouble financially.
April 23, 20242 yr The worst defeat to Arsenal in our history. The club they inherited were World Champions. It takes some doing to be the least competent people in the sport.

This bet would be fine if these duds didn't cost what we paid for them. If this project was 200m instead of 1 billion, we could learn from the mistakes and try again.
April 24, 20242 yr About 10 years ago We beat a poor Arsenal team 6-0 at the Bridge in Wenger's 1000th game. After nearly 2 years of the new owners it feels like we have traded places with that Arsenal.
April 24, 20242 yr Somehow we ended up witth billionaire businessmen that have a business acumen of lottery winners. Edited April 24, 20242 yr by abramovich

At least on that day they were a man down after about 5 minutes, what excuses did we have for get beaten up like that? The fact Arteta even 'felt sorry' for Poch said it all, we were so bad they even felt bad about it🫢
April 24, 20242 yr Whats left to say about them? They've f**ked it and everyone knows it. It's quite unbelievable how they've managed to do everything wrong for two consecutive years. There is no point going into the details anymore as you'd spend all day but its just incredibly sad its happened to our club. Roman should never have let them in in the first place and I put some blame on him for that because our current owners are a virus to this club.

Probably to Newcastle or somewhere like that. With Vivell as the overall SD and Shields in charge of recruitment we might have stood a chance. But now, the American Idiots have blown that as well. With a chancer from Southampton and the clown from Monaco (yes where our chuckle bothers CB pairing came from) blowing the budget, downgrading us at every sale and backing us into a corner so that we might not be able to sack the manager that has delivered some of the most unwanted records we have ever had, where the hell do we go from here.

The chancer came from Brighton ! Joe Shields is the Southampton connection (and before that at Man City)

April 24, 20242 yr Just now, WhiteWall said: You're right, apologies. My sentiment still stands though 😀 In my eyes anyway! Oh I quite agree with the sentiment LOL. I had a look at the 18 players signed under BlueCo who are in this year's first team squad. Setting aside the huge elephant in the room on the fees paid for them, it beggars belief how much they've negotiated on wages. Excluding Sterling Nkunku, the other 16 are collectively being paid £1.485m a week (Capology data). At their previous clubs they were on £295K LOL. Most of those clubs weren't exactly pulling up trees in their respective leagues as well ... I find our results easier to stomach when I view the squad in realistic terms, rather than with the inflated level of expectation that comes with significantly overpaying on transfer fees and wages. A bugger's muddle to sort out for sure ... need to pray that some of these signings actually develop into players worthy of a Top 4 side !
April 24, 20242 yr I just dont the people in power making the right decisions to fix the problems. We had some poor periods under Roman, nothing like this, but I always felt Roman would make the ruthless decisions to get us back challenging again. Realistically what needs to happen, is we need to employ the best manager available on the market. Which would be Tuchel, or possibly Amorim. We need a commanding centre back. We need a capable striker. We need a competent left back/left wing back. We need a quality goalkeeper. We need to ship out a few under performers. There is no rumours of any of these things even happening, bar possibly getting a striker.

Also factor in the eye watering amounts paid to agents to get half of these players to sign on.
