Man U playing without Lingard, Martial and without De Gea. And still such an easy game for them, away. I don't care when Sarri will be sacked but he clearly isn't the right person to lead the club.

I was so angry tonight - logged on to let off steam but I really can't be arsed. Out of his depth, clueless, no ideas.....doesn't really matter. He won't be here much longer.

Stamford Bridge tonight. Is there any doubt he needs to go? Not for me.

Zappacosta for Azpi when you're 2-0 down in the Cup with 10 minutes to go, must be taking? the piss.

Certainly seems like he's saying "I made a mistake coming here, I'll take my 7 figure payout and be on my way"

Team selection/rotation has been comical this season.

Out, although the club having no idea where to head it doesn't matter who is couching the team.

Do they need a coach for these results? Same lineup, same substitutions, though to be fair, Zappacosta coming on down 2-0 was wildly surprising.

Start the same team

Switch Pedro/Willian and Barkley/Kovacic at 60'

Then typically add Giroud at 85'

Or, draw a name out of a hat at 85'

I'm available...

I’m so fed up now, I didn’t want to ask for the managers head but he’s taking the piss. It’s the same bullsh*t tactics that aren’t working every week. It’s the same underperforming sh*te players every week. It’s the EXACT same substitutions and the EXACT same times. Again. He then decided to change one thing and swap our f**king RB’s at 2-0 down. He’s actually delusional. I just want him gone now. I was apprehensive when we brought him and it looks like I was right to be. We look completely rudderless and nothing like this myth that is “Sarriball”. I’m absolutely livid.

It’s over. He’s a clown and he has to go. That’s the easy bit.

Even if they can find someone who can motivate players and adapt to different situations, with this squad of players they’ll have a hell of a job getting us back into the mix.

Darkest days at the Bridge since the very early 80’s. And add in the uncertainty around Abramovic since the visa incident, it’s debatable as to whether anything even can be changed for the good.

This nut job manager just has to go though. He’s not right in the head.

I don’t think I can face another mauling from City but it’s as certain as William for Pedro and Barkley for Kovacic.

I wonder who we’re going to replace the replacement of Sarri with?

The merry go round is so boring. I could hack it when I was 18 but after a decade goes by I’m starting to think what’s the point? Nothing will change unless the club changes culture.

Sarri’s Napoli would tear us a new one quite easily, yet we’re blaming ANOTHER manager given limited time and resources to reinvent the wheel.

It’s normal for strong opinions on here to be dismissed as those belonging to JCL’s and plastics but when your popular home end is chanting ‘f**k Sarri-ball’ you know it’s over.

I think Sarri has been woeful tactically for months now, he's done nothing tactically to change things. If he got the sack, then it would be his own fault. At the same time though, I don't think anybody could come in and turn us around at this point. The fact remains that this is an average squad of players. They tried tonight, they worked harder than usual when things don't go their way, but they just don't look good enough.

I think the football we are playing is far worse that the merry go around. And after Ancellotti, I would argue that most of the managers that were fired were for a valid reason.

When we used to sack managers all the time it didn’t matter because we had one of the best or at least remnants of one of the finest spines the Prem has seen with all the character to go with it. Now we have zero proven foundations because we have zero leaders and the spine needs at least 2 £60mil + players. It’s a joke people are so trigger happy.

This team has one proven goal scorer who only just joined and an absolute fanny of a man as our best player.

Why sack about 12 good mangers and then finally stick with the worst one you’ve had since Scolari and I think I’d even give him the nod over this but job.

And as good as Napoli seemingly were, they still were comfortably beaten by City twice and didn’t win a sausage in all his time there. Not even the Italian league cup.

I admit there are many bang average players in the squad and some even worse, but there’s still enough there not to get ripped to shreds by Bournemouth.

Until we’re back playing 10 behind the ball  against anyone with a transfer budget of above £50mil net spend wondering why we’re always the most agricultural “top” side.

Which is exactly why the board should be bringing someone in with the instructions to build the team for the future. Use the f**king best youth system in the country for once. That should be a prerequisite for any manager coming in to our club nowadays. We’re not chucking hundreds of millions around anymore, we need to build from within.

To win the league YES - We need to invest better. To get to top 4, Heck no !!! Our squad is good enough to get that 4th position. If the new manager can be  tactically astute and flexible then we can easily get into the top 4 and even win the Europa League. Our form has been so sh*tty of late that we are convincing ourselves that it is cos our players are crap but the there is more to it.

I desperately want to stop this eternal cycle of sacking managers but I don't think theres any defending Sarri anymore. He doesn' t know how to change a game, plan A isn't working and I actually think he doesn't play CHO out of spite.

The players really tried tonight, but the system really exposes our weaknesses defensively and you can see the players doesn't really believe in it.

He's out of his depth, and being tactically outwitted by Solskjær is just... poor.

Sadly, I can' t see this turning around with the fans against him, with players lacking belief and his unbelievable lack of flexibility.

Steve Clarke or Steve Holland for the rest of the season would be nice

But this isn’t watchable either. It’s boring as hell. It’s like a Corbyn-like cult praising this dross. We’ll be in the Championship before this guy can start to turn it around. Possibly the most certain thing is that we’re not spending our way to success any more and with Hazard and Odoi off at the end of the season we’ll be needing about 15 new signings in the summer.

Which is never going to happen when every manager knows they’re getting sacked as soon as things go a bit south. Hence they may as well go for an early trophy with the best players then get a lovely pay off when the board and players spit their dummies out.
