August 10, 20241 yr Time for Reece to become a global ambassador, give stadium tours and start getting himself on the after dinner speakers circuit.

August 10, 20241 yr Honestly given up on him now, great player but completely unreliable shouldn’t be captain. Thank f**k we have the brilliant Gusto.

August 10, 20241 yr Man this is rough, got to feel for him. Any other body part and I’d be less worried but hamstring suggests the surgery hasn’t fully solved the problem. Luckily we have gusto but we are at the point we are going to have to consider planning for life without him if this carries on
August 10, 20241 yr ‘Surgery discomfort’. Thought it was a new tear. Not so serious then. Makes sense given he’s played a lot of football and hasn’t done anything this intense since his surgery.

Probably time to cash in but again dwindling asset value with every injury set back.

Although we've seen this kind of thing before where a "minor injury" leads to player disappearing for months on end.
August 11, 20241 yr He is out for first 3 games anyway - so hopefully it has zero impact on the team. However there are a couple of players that need to be playing for their future this season, and that is in terms of both quality and quantity. James, Chilly, Fofana, Nkunku and Lavia all need to be fit and available for at least 25-30 games this season. If they are not, then I think time to move them on.

Hopefully that is all it is, but even with Nkunku last season, the sources to the club downplayed the severeness of the injuries then turned out it was worse than suspected both times.

My treatment was basically a physio rubbing the scar tissue for 10 minutes at a time to break it down, the pain was ridiculous. I'm pretty sure there's a much less medieval treatment now ha ha...
August 11, 20241 yr We should expect him back in January. Not least because once he returns to the side around November he'll probably go in 2 footed within the first 5 minutes and get banned for another 3 games.
