Most City fans already forgot they narrowly beat us 1:0 last season, but 10 years to this time, they will never forget 6:0 same way United fans never forget beating Arsenal 8:2.
Not even Rotherham will lose 6:0 to City.

No, mainly because they lost 7-0 instead.

who cares about what they remember, what matters is that we have made the transition from a team that sits deep without the ball, to a team trying to play high up the pitch with the ball. something we all wanted by and large, but some people have short memories.

Coco with the greatest respect mate, the only end I see us playing is pissing about with the ball around our penalty area. It's hardly Ajax this season. There second half performance at Juve and first half performance at sh*te Hart lane were best two halfs I've seen all season. Can we honestly see Sarri turning us into that, appreciate we don't have the players but I  just can't trust him, hope I'm wrong, I've said before seems decent guy, but to many mistakes.

Some Ajax fans wanted Ten Hag out last season and the man himself said they should aspire to be like Sarri's Napoli.

I don't really care what they remember, what I do care is that last line.

City beat Burton 9-0, Huddersfield 6-1 and Southampton 6-1 this season

So yeah I think they could beat Rotherham 6-0. Also they beat them 7-0.

Lol oblivious. Sarri has as much a chance to do that as the Ajax manager did. Mainly because he's already done it before!

We are playing a lot better than we were 6 months ago. We aren't pissing about in our own box as much. We dominated against Frankfurt who are a decent side and got shots and chances. That keeps happening.

The issue is putting it all together and finishing them now. It's going in a good direction. It might turn out to be sh*t, we have some awful players in our squad. But I'm hopeful.

Don't think that's true at all, we played well against Frankfurt but the football recently has been just as bad as the last few months. A few good games here or there or a decent half doesn't really change that.

Don't think Frankfurt is a good benchmark to use. We did ok, but they had plenty of chances to win the game too. We seemed to be comfortable with majority of the game, but once opposition press us aggressively for 10-15 minutes, we started to lose our rhythm and confidence, and more often than not we were unable to ride out the difficult period. Let's see how we do in the next 3 games, ultimately the next few results will decide his future

Agree to disagree. I've been frustrated that we can't finish recently, not that we can't create. And frustrated our team lacks composure. But can see how people don't think that.

But I can't agree with anyone who wants to play like Ajax and thinks Sarri is the reason we aren't doing it now. The players are the reason. Either get rid of Sarri and be a pragmatic counter defensive team, or continue with Sarri. There's no third option for me

I see a team that has lots of possession and passes round the opposition box not doing alot, rarely do I see many chances being created but I guess we all see different things.

I presume you didn't watch the first 40 mins against Frankfurt, it was dire, once again team was unmotivated which is managers job to motivate We were better second half agreed as they tired, but let's be honest it was Frankfurt for f**k sake 4th in a sh*t league where the two teams way out in front in that league were comfortably beaten by our 2nd and third best teams in our league. They say love is blind!

But Sarri's Napoli played in Italian league which is one step up from walking football, hardly the prem.

Considering our players have looked unmotivated under jose and Conte, I'm not going to rush to blame the manager for players looking unmotivated. Fool me once and all that

We looked awful for the first 20 minutes, then came back into the game and looked far superior.

The most pleasing thing for me in the game was how RLC seemed to drive us on, very promising

Yes but I was talking about there performances in champions League.

Yeah and it's the same players who look unmotivated under Sarri who were unmotivated before.

RLC, Kante, Rudiger, Azpi, all look up for it every game.

Well there maybe division between people on whether Sarri is right manager but a good player clearout is something that everyone can agree on

Ok with letting the odd older player leave yet let's see what the news is on the transfer ban first, IMO.

You don't need to avoid the forum. After the match against Liverpool, if someone told me we wont lose our next two games away to United and Frankfurt, I will doubt it. Drawing those two games have given me the confidence that we will finish the season in the top 4 position and we certainly will play in the Europa league final. If those two happen, then this season has been a good season for us, qualifying for the champions league and playing in two cup finals. I think that guarantees Sarri keeps his job.
But watch out, if you think we were bad in Conte's second season when we competed in the champions league and won the Fa cup but finished 5th, I dread to see how bad we will be next season under Sarri!

I'm speaking hypothetically Wallosh, should the worst happen it will probably be best if I don't spread anymore kneejerk negativity because that's hard to take.

And I want to remain as calm and composed as I possibly can in my judgement of Sarri, I think he should stay.

I think the transfer ban is paramount to Sarri staying, if its imposed i can see Frankie being given the reigns to oversee a new exciting team full full of our youthful loanees returning

I want to see high intensity attacking football. Lots of one touch passing, running off the ball, quick attacks and counter attacks. Out of possession i want us hunting in packs desperate to get the ball back. I want us to have some general attacking intent from set pieces. I want an even spread of work across the group and a togetherness amongst them. I want to see progression in our development where a clear philosphy and a distinctive style is building. I want to see young players growing into the side, getting a fair crack of the whip.  and us therefore playing the players that are most in form , rather than cronyism.

Bring all that and i don't care who is the manager, Sarri, Frank or anybody else.

I understand you perfectly right from your first post, but I still emphasize that you don't need to avoid the forum even if things don't turn out well for us, would still like you to share your opinion here regardless!

I kinda want to see Sarri gone, because I want to see us drop the deep laying playmaker role and Jorginho. I rather change Kantes position and have him help out more with recovering the ball and defending. Add a couple of midfielder with goals in them next to him. I also don't want Higuain and Kovacic back for next season, wich has a good chance to happen with Sarri in charge.
