What a load of crap. What do we pay Sky Sports and BT Sports for. Feels like we are getting ripped off when they don't bother to show games.

Not sure if you know this but television broadcasting rights are won through a bidding process and in blocks of matches. So, last year , various packages were put to bids one of which involved a few midweek games along with bank holiday games. Sky lost their bid to Amazon. Sky and BT won other packages.

So, it’s nothing to do with them ‘not being bothered to show games’ but simply down to the fact they don’t have the broadcasting rights.

George Michael? lol ?

Anyone watching on Amazon I'd recommend the 'Stadium fx' Audio Option. It cancels out the commentary and let's you hear the crowd noise only. Tried it last night, absolutely fantastic. Improved watching the game massively.

Just a bit about Amazon, legacy media is absolutely pissing its pants for when Amazon, Apple, Google and Netflix get serious about sporting rights.

Of course, any of those companies might ease their pain by simply buying any of the old broadcasters.

And.... The pitch looks immaculate as ever today.

My confidence on this game purely relies on Tammy I think.

West Ham was just all sorts of wrong, no sense of direction, sluggish and fatigued performance, little aggression to win the ball back and little confidence to keep the ball. I think Tammy inspires that confidence in the side.

I’m so sick of NBC this is about the eighth game on Golden the season so far

You have to explain to the good people here what NBC is. Not everyone here is from merica

Kepa
James-Zouma-Tomori-Emerson

Kante-Kovacic

CHO-Mount-Pulisic

Tammy

The lineup I want to see, Jorginho has been poor the last 3 games I say bench him and try Kante and Kova in the middle, Willian has also been out of form it's time to bring Callum back into the mix. If Tammy isn't fit then play Michy.

Sorry, NBC has the broadcast rights to the PL here in the states. Their gold channel is their premium pay channel. I should have just bought it at the beginning of the season, it’s only $50.

they just moved the WH game to Gold this weekend too

Life would be considerably easier if we all lived within reasonable distance from the Bridge with an affordable, easy to buy season ticket in our pockets ? But noooooo....

I actually don't think NBC is bad, that black bloke with the odd voice is actually quite good I think. I don't mind their streams it's better than listening to Spitty Carraghers whines on Sky.

The half time guy? Tim Howard? NBC is pretty good except for this pay crap

you dont bench willian, he should always be the first on the team sheet. top player, fantastic player, so dont bench him. if we had started willian against West ham, we would have won the match. he's an intense player, and we all know that, and that's a threat in itself. Let him start, he can score a free kick out of nothing, just leave him. Apart from that, i like your opinion about Jorginho, everybody in this forum knows my position about Jorginho. I said the only frailty in that Chelsea team is that our midfield lacks adequate defensive protection for the our defence. In some matches, we have been fortunate to get away with it, but, it gets us into trouble in other matches too. It got us into trouble throughout last season and everybody shouted last season that Kante should be returned back to his normal position that he plays for the France National team. we were complaining last season because we were having little problems with the defence and we wanted Kante to come back to his position to protect the team, the problem last season was not because Jorginho wasnt making assists, it is not the job of a defensive midfielder to make assists, so, people saying Jorginho was not making assists last season didn't know any better, it's just ignorance to say that.  Physical teams that come well prepared to play against us exploit this weakness and we always suffer, and I dont like that. That was what happened against West ham at the weekend, i hope Lampard sees it, its so unfortunate that he's not seeing it, and as a player, he played in a system where we played Makalele, Essien and him in the midfield. Every other system that he played in was not as successful as that system. So, I'm suprised that Lampard last weekend played against a very physical team like West ham with three offensive midfielders (Jorginho, Kovacic and Mount) in the midfield, with no single defensive player for the midfield? that's strange. the way we use Kante even when we play him is not even in front of the defence, So, who stops the attack of the opponents' attacking midfielders, strikers and wingers? So, I support you that we should play with Kante, Kovacic and Mount in the midfield.

How do you know we would have won the match if Willian had started? Not denying he's better than Pedro at the moment but Willian's final ball was piss poor when he came on, recent form suggests Willian wouldn't have made much difference. Also, Willians FK record is not that impressive, and the ones he has scored are goalkeeper howlers more than anything, I know I sound like a common Willian hater right there but I really don't rate Willians set pieces at all, he's also one of the worst corner takers we've ever had. Alonso is a superb freekick taker though.

I kind of agree with the other stuff you've said but not so much on Jorginho, Jorginho has been instrumental to the success this season, his leadership and dictating of the game is essential to our DNA right now. I say sit him out to try out the Kova-Kante partnership, we have to rotate with our midfield options anyway, Jorginho has been poor, it's probably the best time to sit him out and let them two play together. Mason Mount was very poor last game but I watn to see him play higher and up with Tammy like he was earlier in the season, that was the best Mason Mount.
