March 25, 20206 yr What shirt number do we reckon he will wear? If Willian goes, I could see him taking the number 10 shirt.

If it was one of those Football manager games I would give the 10 to RLC and Pedro's 11 to Ziyech...Maybe even Pulisic can have that not sure!
April 22, 20206 yr Ziyech really is an interesting player for the new season. We are probably looking for a new striker but having him we might not need to. Our front three is not bad. Tammy is the first choice as the most completed striker. He can play as a target, off the wingers or just carry the ball himself. He will improve massively over the future seasons. Giroud is the targetman and can play neat one-two's with wingers setting them to score. He is also a big body and threat from headers. Batshuay can run behind the line and shoot outside of the box. Granted Bats suffers from playing so little and coming on he can't hit a barn door and other things related to bad form. But Ziyech brings so much more than we have now. He is the only player that can make an accurate and intelligent, timed and weighted pass. Jorginho can do it, Mount, Kovacic and Willian as well but not like Ziyech. He is expetional in timing so he can beat the line with the attacker. This brings the threat from wingers and midfielders as well. Ziyech can find players. If he doesn't kick in the cross he is a major threat to shoot as well. Defenders will have hard time playing against him.He can transform our game I really believe that.

I saw this on Twitter and really liked the look of it.
April 23, 20206 yr I don't see us going that far with signings but who knows. Sancho especially is one I don't see us securing. I like it though.

I like it though. 4 signings on top of Ziyech does seem a bit far fetched you’re right. If you take out Sancho and have CHO/Pulisic on the left and Ziyech on the right, and pop Connor Gallagher in to rotate in midfield I think that could work. I do wonder where Gabriel Magalhaes is going. If the Everton rumours are true maybe we are looking for more experience there or maybe not looking at all. Telles seems the logical option at LB and up front who knows. I think Jovic deserves a chance at another club. Him, Tammy & Giroud would be a lovely trio to have but surely Giroud would want to move on to a team where he’s first choice.
April 24, 20206 yr I think Rudiger is still a useful player. What about Romagnoli. Could we lure him? Not sure he is the type of CB we want...
June 11, 20206 yr Seems that he will join the rest in July but he won't be able to play the remaining PL games of this current "ongoing" season.

It's actually a bit sad seeing how the team that Ajax built got sold piece by piece, they were really good. Makes me feel grateful that Roman is here and that we can keep our own players leaving, imagine Tammy, Mount, CHO, James all leaving for Bayern, Barcelona, Juventus... Ajax fans will be used to it though its been the business model there for decades,

June 27, 20206 yr 3.9 Key passes per game and 23 big chances created, along with this: I don't know who will be able to contain our attack next season...
June 30, 20206 yr Anyone practicung to pronounce his name should not follow the example of the farewell video. Us Dutch pronounce that last -ch as in loch, whereas it's originally a Moroccan name and should end with -sh. Or so I'm told.

Hazard... I’ll just call him Eden then
June 30, 20206 yr Very interesting player, he looks far too good for that league but how good will he be in the Premier League? Very interesting experiment.
June 30, 20206 yr I wonder if Frank has suddenly decided on Kante sitting with two 8's in preparation for Ziyech's arrival.

Makes sense, but im sure the english commentators will completely butcher it.
