That's a steal and a half for Liverpool.

As long as his injuries get better. Signing a 29 year old with his record is a gamble.

Both Bale and Thiago have history with injuries. However what you can say when fit and in form they are cracking players.

They massively improve both those sides in my opinion.  Is a risk but ones worth taking imo. Improving the supply to Salah, Mane and co in particular could be devastating.

Lets hope they get little niggles here and there when we play them

Liverpool on the brink of signing Wolves' Jota for £45m.

Same Liverpool who Klopp said can't spend money.

Never really paid much attention to Jota. Seems like quite a lot of money for someone who will play second fiddle to Mane and Salah.

Wolves seem to be letting a few go. First the right wingback to spurs now Jota. Without covid would they still sell?

I think they still would, these kind of clubs don't fancy risking it all to get into the top 4. The last example of this were Southampton who were really banging on the doors of Europe but then let Liverpool and other teams raid them constantly, they would always be content with PL status.

It seems Liverpool arent the financial geniuses people think with these signings, thery are back loading them. So they are leveraging the it financial future to keep the German gurner from crying.

"Interesting to see Liverpool fans suggest they’ve got some sort of bargain because the fee is only payable in 12-24mths time when the reality is the opposite. They’re overpaying on the total fee for that privilege. Effectively the Bank of FOSUN are charging Liverpool FC interest."

Bale with his injuries and Welsh duties with Mourinho should be interesting.

As much as I dislike Spurs I look forward to seeing some magic from the golf playing Welsh Wizard, just hope they come against Pool, Utd and City.

It's different with Wolves. I believe Jorge Mendes is using the club as his display showcase to bring in his players and sell them for huge fees later on.

Everton's attacking front is quality, James Rodriguez is proving himself for good until now.

I liked West Brom's wingers as well, Dianganga is not a bad attacker. Without that red card I think West Brom could have a chance to play against them, but both teams can be targeted by their defense.

Richarlison is a great player as well, if he will continue to prove himself in 1-2 seasons, big club will take him.

High risk, high reward I know but defensively they look like they're going to concede a lot of chances.

Their midfield presses high up the pitch when their defence is trying to play their way out and it looks ripe for turnovers in their final third.

Still rings true a week later. 7 goals conceded in less than 2 games already by Leeds who the media seem to bizarrely have a bit of a hard on for.

They carry on playing like this and they're going to be fighting off relegation because if this Fulham team can stick 3 past them then most other sides in league will feel confident they can do the same.

As for Bale...I,ll believe it when i see it.

Really doubt Levy has a ton of money to spend with his brand new empty stadium.

Levy has played a blinder here. If Bale stays fit Spurs may have just become challengers for the top 4.
