I know this might sound controversial but I prefer Carlo over Jose. I know Jose is our greatest ever manager but I feel like Jose has tainted his legacy with us with his various comments and digs.

I love Jose but his time as a club Manager is up, his style of play is ancient and the game has left him behind.

However I still think he is an Incredible motivator and should probably look to manage at International level as he could probably do well in cup competitions.

The Amazon series is very good. Looking Jose talking to Tottenham players and he seems to be a bit content. After winning everything and now being demoted to a top 10 side I don't blame him. Jose fits TV very well. It is enjoyable to watch him talk.

It’s early days but Everton looked pretty decent. They seemed to gel very well and James put on a decent display. Spurs, looked disjointed

Anyone care to pass comment on Everton’s new midfield? Could only listen on the radio, been working all day!

They looked good but they hadn't gel properly yet. On paper it has everything, if it clicks, they could fight for top 4-5

In an unrelated note, I feel like Kane has wasted his career there.

The guy is world class but spent all of his career not winning anything and now his legs aren't as good as it was years ago.

King Carlo is my favourite, the football we played under him was unreal, still the best I’ve seen in my 23 odd years watching us.

Of course a very good chance he’ll be bumped down to second shortly.

Carlo's our only title winning manager who hasn't done anything to affect the legacy he built for winning the league.

He should have got out after they failed to win the Champions League. The signs were there that the Champions League final was their last chance to get something out of that generation of Tottenham players.

Injuries are taking their toll on him too, you can see it in his movement, and he really looks dead on his feet half way into the second half. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up like Torres or Shevchenko soon.

If Spurs doesn't sign a decent striker , expect Jose to throw out all his toys and be out by January. Kane missed that big chance to move, now none of the big teams in England wanted him, and the likes of Madrid/Barca got their own problems. He's still a good striker, but nobody will pay 150 or even 100M to take a risk on a fading high injury risk striker.

I think the real problem for Kane is that Spurs have no creativity in midfield, the only creative outlet they had was Erikssen and once he fell out of form and eventually left for Inter Milan it resulted in a incredibly dysfunctional midfield. Kane is having to drop into midfield to get involved in the game and he just doesnt have the pace anymore to get in behind.

Spurs are a counter attacking team, they look most threatening when they are breaking at pace with Son, Alli & Moura but the moment they have to break down a team even with a world class striker they lack any sort of cutting edge.
