Very average first half performance really. 
 

I would make a few changes second half get kova on for kante (yellow card) , giroud for Tammy, 

Well, we started the game very good, we pressed their backline very well. We're little struggling to threat their goal from our midfield, we need more creation from there. 

We deserved to lead here, I think the 2nd penalty wasn't fair, the ball went to his hand from his leg, the only thing goes against him is the way he threw his hands in the air. 

I feel bad for Rennes now, but I believe we need to get a 5-0 win here, we need to be dominant and be killers in the attack, keep our defense focused and try to score as much as we can.

COME ON CHELS!!

We don't need to do it because we are in control being 2-0 up and a man up, but I would be happy to see Giroud on for Abraham, Hudson-Odoi on for Jorginho, move Ziyech into attacking midfield and play Kante and Mount in CM. I think we would look a lot better and would comfortably see out the game, and much better to watch.

For now we still have to concentrate as Rennes are still playing well but seeing as we are in a great position to win, we should probably be thinking more about resting players.

Giroud, Azpi, Emerson, CHO and Alonso could do with a workout.

Abraham has been invicible in the entire first half, needs to do much more to keep his place once Pulisic and Havertz are back.

BTW has Tammy been doing anything useful that I've missed, because so far I'm underwhelmed.

I am getting sick of moaning about him but Tammy is so far out of his depth. How he gets a game before CHO or Giroud is beyond belief.

The second yellow for a perceived handball is fine but the first yellow wasn't justified I don't think, it's not like he used a lot of force or fouled him cynically. That guy was just so unlucky to have 2 bad decisions against him.

Odd match, should be able to see this out while giving a couple of players a bit of a rest.

Very harsh 2nd penalty, 3 points tonight and we’ll be in a good position in this group.

He conned a penalty for us 

None of his yellow cards should have been given. Zouma’s yellow card was also a disaster. I’d have Ziyech and Zouma subbed or this clown of a referee will send them off. 

Hope we finish this game in a professional manner and take the win.

The yellow was for Kante for kicking the ball away.

It was for Kante for protesting by kicking the ball after the whistle. I think. 

That pass from Jorginho was absolutely incredible.

Stop doing it then? He played great at the weekend when the rest of the team did. He’s been poor tonight but as has the majority of the team, particularly going forward. Not sure why he’s being singled out.
