But that's the thing, we DID get past them. Werner scored though marginally offside, Tammy had 3 (or was it 2) great chances to score, and Giroud at the end could have also scored. Against a Mourinho side, that is more than many teams will get. We need to be more clinical in front of goal and Tammy so far is a bit of a hit and miss.

And don’t let’s let Ziyech off the hook, he spurned an excellent opportunity, central to the goal on the edge of the penalty area and on his left foot - blazed it way way over the top - it was a better than reasonable chance imo.

I think that was the best chance of the game

Tammy was always wrestling with a defender or 2 for his chances and the Giroud chance was probably his first involvement in the game, Ziyech actually controlled the ball incredibly well and just slashed at it in the end probably had more time then he anticipated.

Yes, true, that was another missed great chance.

I was reading with interest, some of G Nevs after match comments, and for once thought what a crock of sh*t Gary, he was eulogising about Mourinho new tactics, that differed slightly from his negative dross from his stint at Manyoo, if he is trying to convince me Spurs with 6 at the back, and Kane in midfield somewhere, how can he blunt the best striker in the Premier and think this team is a Cute upgrade,he can f**k right off, we huffed a bit, but we were the only team trying to attack, and probably deserved the 3 points.

Its hilarious seeing Jose lauded for his tactical genius in this game, after years of him being slagged of for doing the exact same thing with us and Man Utd. Almost as if its different now his with the media darlings spuds, very strange.

Chelsea almost the best team in the league at the moment. I get why Frank is being cautious for certain games but this current squad can go onto bigger and better things. I would not write Chelsea off as title contenders just yet...it's going to get more interesting as the season goes on.
