I think a lot of people are forgetting Tuchel has only been here for 2 months and just suffered his first loss. There’s no excusing today’s performance because it was crap all round, including Tuchel’s decision making, but hopefully he can learn from this and pick ourselves back up which I’m sure we will.

 

If we’re being honest, some people still haven't got over Lampard getting sacked and if Tuchel was taking over from Sarri you’d be singing his praises at how solid he’s made us and chalk today down as ‘one of those days’.

Come on. Gilmour wasnt starting in tbe league under Lampard either. Abraham has been dogsh*t, then injured, and CHO has played more under Tuchel than he ever did u der Lampard, and he too was coming back from injury today.

CHO have played a lot more under Tuchel then he did under Lampard as well. So unless you want to compare Tuchel to someone else he's played the youngsters more then our former manager.

Yeah Lampard nearly let CHO walk to Bayern, didn't give Lamptey any chances so he walked (could/should have started every single game Lampard went with wingbacks and got chances when Reece was injured) and has likely lost us Tomori. He also dropped Gilmour after his two MOTM displays Vs the scousers to shoehorn an out of sorts Kante back in. He also never gave Cumming a chance despite Kepa and Willy looking like ametuers. 

I mean don't get me wrong Lampard's policy all in all with the young players was great but if every little decision he made with them got micromanaged like is happening with TT he'd have been getting critisised very regularly.

He was fit since mid November. Played 90 minutes against Krasnodar in early December and after that he didn't start again until Morecambe and then Luton in Lampard's last game.

So let's not use Gilmour as a stick to beat Tuchel with as well shall we. If anything Gilmour should have performed far better then he did against Barnsley and Sheffield United. Who knows how much he might have played if he did but he didn't perform and looked like the youngster he is in both games. So Tuchel's decision in regards to that have been sensible in every sense.

We've been crying out for a gilmour type player in games, yet he never gets on. You can't say Abraham has been dropped because hes sh*t, as players playing worse than him continue to get picked. The way Tuchel has treat CHO in dragging him, throwing him under the bus in interviews etc is totally different to how he treats others, that's my problem with him.

I would still expect any top team in this league to beat a poor west brom with 10 men. The subs was just wierd, 2-1 down and you keep 5 at the back, im not even sure why Tuchel kept 5 at the back straight after the sending off tbh. Pulisic at half time was bonkers when it was clear Jorginho should have been taken off.

Its not really an over reaction because the attacking performance has been poor for a very long time now. Its just the defence decided to play sh*t for once and we dont score enough.

City, Liverpool, United didnt beat them with 11.

Today is on Tuchel possibly underestimated WBA and ref didn't do us any favours except perhaps not giving Kova a second booking for over committing on at least one occasion when we were chasing the game.

I suspect his fear of fatigue made TT make several changes though wonder about his pre-match prep as not surprised they scored some good goals after seeing them beat Liverpool starting the Reds slide down the table.

With the way we play right now, you can almost guarantee a draw before the game (of course I am talking about 11 v 11).

Winning on the other hand is whole another story because we barely create chances against most teams

I was thinking more when we played back three. We did it a fair bit in the first season and Lamptey could have easily played wingback while RJ or Azpi was the hybrid behind him.

Abraham was sh*t in his 1st couple of chances under Tuchel and got hooked at half time. He then had a decent game against barsnley, and got injured the folllwing game, he hasnt been fit since. Maybe if he took his chances when he played, and he wasnt injured, he wouldve played more, and the underperforming atrackers wouldve played less. 

Cho being hooked and the following press conference is water under the bridge, he has started games since then, big games aswell. How is he being treated unfairly? 

He plays more now than he ever did. 

It seems you have all this negativity and anger left over from Lampards dismissal, and you have been bottling it up, ready to explode at the first chance you get. Its took you a long time to unleash since Tuchel has been doing a good job. Get it out of your system, im sure you will feel better for it.

Personally i think its a little childish, and hypocritical as im sure you would be calling others 'entitled' for this sort of gross over reation to losing 1 game in 14 after a series of impressive wins.

True but we played back 3 maybe in like 4/5 game tops, so really doesn't matter. Lamptey is a fantastic young player but clearly his future is in back 5. I don't think back 5 is lamp preferred system.

All true. I can't even imagine the whining if Tuchel had treated Tomori the way Lampard did.

Now that was really freezing someone out. Tuchel hasn't done that to anyone in the squad up to this point.

And for the love of God, stop whining about Billy Gilmour. He's a youngster, looks like a youngster, plays like a youngster and have shown in both appearances so far under Tuchel that he's not ready for the big games yet. Some are talking about him like we have some young Xavi or Cesc Fabregas on the bench. Fact is that he hasn't been that great either side of two great performances under Lampard.

Yeah i do, he has a massive squad and makes more chances than anyone bar Guardiola to give more players chances. None of the attacking players have been consistant, bar Mount who was rested after 3 games for england. Gilmour is unlucky not to be involved more, but that was the case all season.

The reason I brought up Lampard is because you are saying Tuchel is treating 3 players worse than Lampard did when I dont think that is the case at all, especially when you look at the opportunities said players have had under both managers.

Somehow West Brom managed to score 8 goals against us this season in two games. The only other team part from us where they managed to score more than 2 goals in one game this season is Wolves. Not sure how do we play so bad particularly against them.

Tuchel saving players for the CL didn't work once again and his subs today were pretty questionable. First home game in 6 games where we conceded at least a goal, first defeat under Tuchel.
