Did anyone hear Lee Sharpe on Radio 2 this morning?  He thinks we'll get beat comfortably.  I must say....I'm very worried.

That is the shared opinion of everyone at city and neutrals.

I must say I can't ever recall being this low on confidence going into a final.  I really, really hope some of us look stupid on Saturday night, when we see young Mason parading around with the cup.

I really, really hope so. That the majority of us looks really dumb for not believing in our team.

However I feel like you, no belief we can get it done and think there is a chance the game is over by half time. Ciry would only need to be up two for that to be the case.

Apparently we returned 800 tickets to UEFA because we couldn't sell them. While City sold out their tickets on the first day because their fans have got their tickets and accommodation paid for by their owner. We will definitely be the away team in Porto.  It makes no sense why we would just return the tickets couldn't we just gift them to true Chelsea supporters. SMFH

That’s funny because I had a look to get a ticket last week and they had sold out with season ticket holders with 64 loyalty points, and it still says it’s sold out. Maybe they’ve returned hospitality tickets?

I also think that Chelsea provided some subsidies to fans, but I’m not sure to what level.

Villareal just beat Man u on penalties in the Europa league..

Does anyone know what happened the last time a spanish team won the Europa league.......lol

2012.................2021

While Man Utd was resting players and "preparing" (idk what they did to be honest they always look the same) for the Europa League final, Villareal was playing hard till the very last game, had their rivals lost their last game in La Liga and if they had won vs Real Madrid they would have secured top 5.

So maybe the fact that we had real competitive games till the end helps us vs Man City that didn't have anything close to that.

City seemed fine to me against a good Everton side.

No all manchester super cup game now.

If anything, Man City look sharp as hell and we've been in a demoralizing run of poor form

They had no pressure in a while while we had a lot of important matches and many of them. Easy to look sharp in that team but they have never been in this spot before so we'll see if they have what it takes.

The only way City lose this is if they take us easy (which after 2 losses against us, gives Pep ammo) and if our group of players turn up. But after that horrible run in the last 2 weeks, I have no clue if Tuchel can field our best 11 much less have the team be mentally ready for the fight of their lives.

On the bolded part, our current group of players bar Thiago Silva has also never reached the final of the CL. In fact, this team at the moment is serial bottlers. It's really hard to even imagine us winning this.

I will be happy to be proven wrong on this.

So what you reckon? No point in us going to Portugal?
