Chelsea v Man City (CL Final) 29/05/21 KO 20:00 BST

The BBC are running bloody articles romanticising City’s rise from third tier to possible Kings of Europe. Other than a recent slump, they are no different to us, a persistently underachieving club of good size that suddenly had a huge amount of cash spent on trying to be very successful. It’s never damn romanticised when told as Chelsea’s story.

Well all knew that was coming mate. They want City to win.

You will be hard press to find many neutrals who do not want a City win. I would venture even most United fans wants them too.

Lots of fans I know want us to win. Mainly because they don't want City rewarded for buying the league every year.

We are now a normal club again so it's okay for us to win apparently. I actually even heard this from a reasonably die-hard  Spuds fan yesterday.

This week of all weeks should suggest that we shouldn't pay too much attention to what the BBC thinks haha.

I'll be watching the game in Vegas.  Will start drinking early, or just pull an all nighter.

Probably place some bets. Werner to score first must be good odds.  Shoot, Werner to score period would be good odds.

I'll be watching the game in the White Lion pub. Will start drinking early, have a game of darts.

Will have a kebab and soggy chips on the way home. It will probably rain.  The missus will make me sleep in the spare room when I get home and will glare at me all day Sunday.

That's not journalism, it's City's PR. That's what a paid article looks like. It's something that happens quite often. The PR of a company comes and says that it has some interesting things to publish and it pays you to do it. They don't write for the journalist, they just give him the information to publish. Pure journalism is long dead. The practice is common everywhere..

I'll be watching in the shed at the bottom of the allotment, a flask of tea and some soggy sandwiches, the sun won't shine, and the Mrs wants a divorce, she's running off with my brother.

Our confirmed 25 man squad of losers, as per Mr. Sterling, and confirmation we will be in this years home kit:

11 start and 12 make the bench. So who does TT put in the stands? My guess Tammy and Billy.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am already sh*tting bricks.

I have a feeling it will be a very boring and tactical game, hopefully we can nick a goal early and ride it out.

Come on!

Still does not feel real to me, a numb feeling. Dont think it helps we are playing City. Having had the prestigious Atletico and Porto and finally the glamour tie vs Real, to face City is a bit meh and a let down.

The only thing that's surprised me there is you will be drinking tea. Thought for certain it would be coco.

Let's just hope Chelsea do better than the UK did in the Eurovision song contest.

I really hope we can beat City with their supposed full strength team. All I keep seeing and reading is that we only beat them twice recently because they didn't have their main team out.

They've even rolled out Mark Hughes on Sky Sports to say exactly the same thing. Honestly, when they are winning with different squads people cream over their strength in depth, yet when we beat them suddenly they trot out "it wasn't our best team".

Let's do this!!

I totally understand what you mean and I agree, playing City in the CL final makes the match much less glamorous and exciting than it should be.

I think it's the aftermath of it all that is making me nervous - us having the chance to win it again and sticking it to the 'mighty' City, or them absolutely destroying us and making us look like a Sunday League team on the biggest stage in club football.

Anyway, we've come this far and it's just one more hurdle to glory. I hope we at least give it everything we've got.
