Ok let's talk pen takers for fun. Our pen takers fill me with dread.

Jorgi does well in regular game time but our last shoot out he missed against City.

Werner cannot hit a barn door when he is onside.

Havertz will likely try something fancy and spoon it over the bar.

Ziyech I feel confident in so he has less chance than anyone of scoring his, even Werner...

Mount missed his last pen in a shoot out at Spurs.

Too much pressure to put on James.

Think our best chances would be going

1. Rudiger

2. Emerson

3. Chilwell

4. Alonso

5. Dave

Giroud would be a good option of he comes on as well.

Well you're a ray of sunshine ain't ya 🤣

Completely meaningless meaningful observations from this individual training still:

- Tammy Abraham making fun of Reece James for copying his hair: "you'll never start another game".

- Kanté on his own with wide, determined eyes, presumably trying to reconcile his natural humility with the obvious knowledge that if we are to unexpectedly win the trophy, he will be our key player.

- Chilwell attempting to ease Werner's anxiety by introducing him to British humour: "Bet you've got your beach towel down already." While he is currently smiling politely, as it turns out Werner's puzzlement over this cryptic remark will actually allow him to find his goalscoring Zen. "Why didn't this idiot go for a badetuch/bad touch joke?"

- Typical: Ziyech isn't running.

- Typical: Christensen has his head down, possibly thinking about the stomach problems he's been having this week.

- Typical: Kovacic is jogging.

- Typical: Alonso is a complete anomaly. He also looks confused, which is less of an anomaly.

- Typical: Jorginho isn't looking forward.

- Symbolic: Ziyech is looking back at the steely eyes of Pulisic, despite the latter being completely useless. This is reflective of the USA's subjugation of the Arab world and the resulting ethnic self-perception which if considered through the lens of a certain paradigm... (cont. p.94)

- Symbolic: Emerson massively lagging behind the entire squad.

- Symbolic: Jorginho is the next furthest behind, looking like he's about to point in a forward direction in order to direct Emerson.

- Positive: Gilmour is running next to Mount rather than next to one of our more sh*t listless midfielders.

We can't let Man City win the CL. It would just feel wrong. The arrogance of them annoys me.

Dont think we will let them do so, that would involve Jorgi level presents like against Arsenal.

Will either be a case of the show up and they take it or the pressure gets to them and we take advantage.

I dont think either side can show up and be sh*t and still win the trophy.

Winning a second CL would be incredible. City winning means they are equal on CL wins with us, which would be irritating. We have no idea when we will next be in a CL final, so winning it this year would be great.

We will win a second one some day my friend. I just dont believe it will be happening tomorrow.

Both sides will get chances and my lack of belief stems from the fact our attackers are either not trusted and rusty or completely toothless and not scored in 4 games.

Cities on the other hand are a bit special and in decent form.

Oh and for the nervous out there, only 24 hours and 16 minutes till kick off 🤪

Come on Chelsea, you can win this.  City fans are being insufferable thinking all they have to do is show up to get their hands on the big 'un. Take it back to West London and send the bitters home in tears.

Hopefully we can do a good job tomorrow mate. I have not doubt we will give it our best effort.

Its tough to take but apart from man utd fans, and half of liverpool, no one else would want us to win it......as if wed be as insufferable and start singing to all and sundry, and spurz....YOULL NEVER SING THAAAT......as if we would

Anyone listen to the 5 live preview just now? Any pretence that BBC presenters who double up at BT commentators might show some degree of impartiality when it comes to tomorrow's final can be forgotten. Darren Fletcher, the show's presenter and BT's commentator tomorrow night, said that, if we win, he'll be on John Terry watch looking for him in full kit trying to muscle in on the celebrations.

Both Jenas and Sutton groaned at his childishness and shameless bias.

Speaking of fate I'm in a bit of a bind. I watched the 2012 final (and as a direct result, the 2013 final, then the 2015 game against Palace) at Walkabout on Granby Street in Leicester.

Walkabout has since closed and moved to Belvoir (pronounced 'Beaver') Street, but there's another venue in the old Walkabout's place. I'm wondering, from a superstition perspective, which one do I go to? Or do I go to a different bar where I watched the 2019 final?

These things matter!

I think it won't matter as long as you're wearing white socks, but that is a general rule of life anyway 🤔

Emerson is clearly concerned that we forgot to bring a keeper with us to Porto. Jorgnho is telling him "I'll tell Azpi, and he can tell the gaffer".

Tammy is training in his Speedos.

My money is on Christensen to trip over the trip wire.

And you’ll be saying “we are doomed” until our players lift the big ears! :laugh2:

This is why I don't pay attention to other media outlets until I have to. I just watched the official Chelsea channel's build up and it was delightful.
