So much surprise about this. Why are you all surprised?

United and Liverpool have had this favoritism for a long, long time. As Pep alluded too.

If they score the goal we had ruled out yesterday, is never ruled out.

If thar was Cancelo and not Milner today he is sent off.

If it is TAA and not James with the handball at anfield it is not a pen, not a red card.

If it was Rudiger pulling down Watkins last week and not McGuire it is a foul and red card.

It is always the same, it is how the FA want it to be. So why are you all surprised and why do you think the FA would change anything? Lol

Not surprised in the slightest, just f**king sick of the continual bias. You just hope that they will sometime be embarrassed into change.

It is the hope that gets you.

What’s your thoughts on Newcastle’s takeover? 5 x richer than City’s owners..

Find everything being said about human rights rather interesting given you would think that would disqualify them by the fit and proper persons thing new owners are supposed to pass.

While they are not in Europe they should throw the kitchen sink at the club, get rid of most of the team and overhaul it, new manager too. They can pay Neymar size fees and wages and make them a competitor for top prizes.

Start by putting together that 250mill deal for Haaland.

If it is confirmed I see no problem in it. Newcastle could potentially become a threat but I'm all for more teams shaking up the established order. We did it, City did it and now possibly Newcastle do it. It will be interesting to see if they do reach the heights of City or go to around the Leicester level.

No doubt fans of Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool will be crying which is always a good thing.

I can't wait to see them in the directors box without their tunics. Think they'll find the banks of the Tyne a shade cooler than Ryihadh.

It's one thing have money to spend, it's another thing entirely convincing elite players to join the club.

They're likely to start throwing money at past their prime big names (Courtinho comes to mind) or over paying for mediocre players.

It will take them years to overhaul their squad to a point that their competing for trophies.

Every international break Liverpool fans seem to do this whole "our player is better than your player because stats" but every single time they accidentally admit by their own logic that Lampard is better than Gerrard was because Lampard's stats are better than Gerrard's in almost every area 😆

Now they are saying Salah is better than Hazard and Ronaldinho. Now, fair enough, there is an argument to be had that he is better than Hazard at his peak (I would pick Hazard personally) but saying he is better than Ronaldinho is laughable. Ronaldinho is one of the greatest of all time, Salah is just one of the best of his era. Ronaldinho between 2002-2008 was ridiculous, I had never seen a player like him and still haven't seen a player like him since.

I hope they buy Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Batshuayi and any other player we have that are excess to requirements

In terms of production and longevity,  Salah is better than Hazard. Anything else Hazard wins. It's just that these days it's Salah's turn to dominate the Prem.

Both fantastically complement each other in the same team.

I've always been amused by negative comments from other fans about Roman, whether it be talk of Chelsea buying success, making allegations about where his wealth came from, being a plastic club, no history and saying piously 'we'd rather do it the right way' etc...you always knew they'd swap places in a heartbeat and you can see it by the reaction of the Newcastle fans. Appreciate why they're sick of mike ashley but they're now being taken over by a country with serious human rights issues...do they care? They're singing and dancing at the thought Newcastle might become a decent team again.

Still, it's going to be a challenge. They can't just come in and spend a fortune cos FFP is in place. And while city and psg have shown there are ways to get around it, Newcastle can't just make out they have lucrative sponsorship deals from day one.

Good shout on Coutinho as Barca would happily get rid.

Am hearing about a big contract offer to Rudiger, and offers for Kounde and Gilmour expected too.

One I have not heard about but fully expect is a huge money offer to Mino to get Haaland to join them for a couple of years before heading to Real.

Is this the sleeping giant they keep on about on the radio today? Looks more like a fat bastard to me.

What a joke to call that club a sleeping giant. They had a bit of a run in the late 90s finishing 2nd twice, but won nothing, in that same period (pre-Roman) we won the FA cup and European Cup Winners Cup.

Rudiger

You never been to the N/E of England ?Neither will the majority of that list.

I’ve never got why they are/were considered a big club. A bit of Keegan magic for a few seasons - what else?

What's the state of FFP? Realistically it's going to take them a few years to build up unless they do a City and blatantly ignore rules.

We better start getting some titles in before it starts getting really hard to win.

FFP is a concern for sides in European competitions I believe.

Depends on if enough money came there way. Ginola went there after all.
