Quite the opposite. Italian football is more attacking but the quality of defending is abysmal compared to 4-5 years ago.

I partly agree about the defending but the overall quality has improved. Their clubs were again able to attract big names recently, e.g. Ronaldo to Juve, Mourinho to Roma.

So far another easy win for pool at Porto, who always seem to go easy on them, and City losing at PSG.

So why are City not showing up so far there? Come on City kick them one step towards the exit door.

Great goal from Messi.

City look toothless. Build up, build up, break down.

Haven’t watched that must of City this season so don’t know how well Grelish has started for them but tonight he was rubbish.

They were toothless against us too. We were just much, much worse.

Grealish has played like that in every game so far. He looks out of his depth at the moment.

Well that's worrying... I was hoping Man City would school them.

I hugely enjoyed the referee not giving anything to Grealish, try as he might

I have no sympathy for PSG whatsoever, but if it takes a win by them to stop City winning the CL, so be it.

That City game really showed that if we didn't play negative and actually attacked them we would have been able to beat them. We showed them way too much respect on our home ground.

We did open up and attacked them in the 2nd half. If we did that from the beginning and with a bit bad luck, we would get Sarri 6-0.

To be honest, City were dominant for most of the game. They had that opportunity where Bernardo Silva, I think it was, couldn't put the ball in the net and hit the post/bar twice.

Man City had the opportunities to cause way more problems, but left their luck back in Stamford bridge haha. I am yet to be impressed by PSG yet, especially given they've signed the best attacking player in the world and arguably the best RB too.

It's sort of the reality at the moment - English football has never been more competitive, but the best English teams are still behind Bayern and PSG in the CL.

Mind you, both teams have the luxury of using their domestic games as training exercises.

I think Man City has a similar problem like us, when they are behind they don't really have a secure way to come back into the game yet. Then they open up and a counter-attack finishes them off. We showed them too much respect in the last game.

Gotta disagree on that one Val. Of all teams I want PSG to win it the least.

They are the most financially dropped football club in history. No way they can operate within football rules with the money they legitimately make with the huge fees paid and wages they give out.

The way they skirt rules is cheating of the highest order, probably filled with bribes to go along with it.

City are just as bad....As I said, I have no love for PSG, but I really don't want any other British club than Chelsea to win the Champions League.

I'm ok if Barnet wins it, the bees can be the second London club to win it, fine by me.

I didn't watch their last two games for obvious reasons, but this article is pretty much bang on from all I have seen of Man Utd this season. It's not the first time Wilson has made this argument either:

I dont want City to win it either, just have more dislike towards PSG personally as they are more self righteous about it.

And boy how the media and rivals fans are enjoying sticking the knife in to TT and us in general at the mo shesh lol.
