March 14, 20224 yr Couldn’t take it if Liverpool won the league, and would hate it even more after what Carragher said about the Chelsea academy and the Chelsea coaches tonight live on TV. Edited March 14, 20224 yr by 2211

Granted around 10 years ago we had a lot of players signed from other clubs but by the time we won the 2018 youth Cup it was pretty much an entire team of local lads.

All the hard work that has gone into the academy and the work that the talented coaches have put in over a number of years and he's just slammed all of that in one uneducated and misguided outburst. And all because he was given a bit of a hard time yesterday after HE suggested in a national newspaper that Man Utd should go after our manager. He clearly hates us and Sky have given him the platform to voice that hatred.

They have the same owner, same club.
March 15, 20224 yr Well as much as I don't like it, and I know it brings them closer to us, I will hope for an Arsenal win on Wednesday. Whatever it takes to put a dent in Liverpools challange.
March 15, 20224 yr Also, I’m pretty sure he said we BRIBE kids by offering their parents coaching jobs. That footage seems to be hard to find on social media unsurprising, probably Sky getting it removed all over the place. That makes it worse, should be made to apologise on Sky.
March 15, 20224 yr Author Well he has a point - PSG win the Champions' League every season by throwing money around. Plus Liverpool's 2019 Champions' League-winning side were all from the academy. I must have forgotten Ashley Cole winning European trophies at Arsenal, my memory is fallible after all. All football fans think their team is the best in the world (and if you're British you also have to straddle the divide between that belief and your natural pessimism), but I don't know any other fanbase bar Liverpool who also baselessly lay claim to moral superiority. It's a bizarre phenomenon, almost cult-like. All rich clubs take advantage of their position, including Liverpool. And if you want some whataboutery, remember that time he took a group of lads to the airport to beat up Lucas Neill (and bottled it). Also this:

March 15, 20224 yr Fernandes and Ronaldo are the biggest whingers in football. Elanga wasn't even fouled and instead of getting on with the game and trying to recover the ball, they just let Atletico Madrid get on with things and score a goal. Edited March 15, 20224 yr by Scott Harris
March 15, 20224 yr Bruno Fernandes is a rat. This referee is atrocious however. No bookings for clear yellow card offences, stopping play for nothing and standing in front of play just to name a few. Terrible.
March 15, 20224 yr Isn't Darren Fletcher just the sh*ttiest commentator ever, makes J Pearce, almost Motsonesque, loving Yoonited are being beat, i think CR7 might cry, lol
March 15, 20224 yr The coaching from Rangnick is bizarre. Just throwing players on with no obvious plan

March 15, 20224 yr It’s clear why the likes of Klopp and Tuchel do well, they’ve took one look at ‘the professor’ and said that isn’t how you do it. Rangnick makes Ole look good.
March 15, 20224 yr Clueless performance from United. Stealing a living that lot. Someone got absolutely pelted with projectiles. Total scum fanbase.
March 15, 20224 yr Manure dumped out of UCL. Guess it is all Roman Abramovich's fault and Chelsea should be relegated to the National Division for this. f**king hypocrites, should mind their own business instead of waking up every day refreshing the feed to see if Chelsea got dissolved or not. They are f**king sh*te, this is the worst Atletico Madrid since Simeone took over and still they can't get past that awful lot.
