WBA managed 5, at the Bridge, and they were garbage against almost everyone else. Brentford are better than them and it is a derby as well.

Cannot take them lightly.

I guess you can argue they find ways to score since they did against Liverpool and Man United for example... But I think an open game suits us.

No team is easy in this league. We might think aahh we are done with City and Pool and then lose to Brentford. We should win which makes it that much trickier. Everyone else thinks that as well.

Ruben starts for me. Chilly as well. Mount and Havertz start.

In general I agree however Norwich look a few levels below the rest.

Watched Brentford on TV a couple of times this season, compact, hard running, few Danes in the defence. Toney not that quick but strong enough.

They certainly won't be pushovers and I doubt we will treat them as such.

I can't see Azpilcueta or Alonso starting, they both played two hard games this week already for Spain.

Jorginho was a sub in the Italy v Belgium game and Lukaku wasn't even on the bench.

Rudigier and Werner played most of Germany v Romania which was a good game

Seems to me like Chilwell is finding form. Not sure what the Pulisic status is.

thinking:

Mendy

CHO chalobah christenson rudigier chilwell

jorginho kova

                          Havertz

Werner Lukaku

I’m hoping Reece is back because CHO at RWB is just sh*t. He had his best game for ages playing in his actual position so let’s keep him there please.

There is always Dave if Reece is not back.

Putting Anthony Taylor in charge of another Chelsea match is just plain abusive by the Premier League. Some old fart must have gotten offended that their beloved ManUtd or Liverpool is not top of the table.

United haven't played a team from the top 6 all season, dropped 7 points already and should have dropped 2 at Wolves as well. i think looking at their fixtures their "title race" will be done and all hope death and buried by december.

on topic: just hope Raya hasn't another ridiculous game against us, that safe he made against liverpool was incredible

Of course he will.

Anthony Taylor will surely feck up.

Brentford have had an impressive start to the season and play good football. With this being a derby game too it should be an exciting game. I'm hoping Tuchel goes with the players that impressed against Southampton. Would be great to see Ruben get another start. Hopefully Mount will be able to start this one too after his impressive display from the bench against Southampton.

It is a losing mentality to complain about the ref, or the pitch,or the weather. Just shifts responsibilities away from the players  to someone else.

if brentford win, which they won’t, it’s because they played better on the day. If we execute our plan, whatever that is, we win.
