I get that there are not many suitors, but he will go - as it makes zero sense to bogarde him. Even if it is a free loan with us paying 50% of his salary, that would still be preferable to us making him train with the kids whilst paying 100% of the salary.

Screw them. Let him rot in the reserves. But that won't happen because his ego is bigger than his talent and the Euros are coming up next year. He'll likely choose to play in the saudi league instead of doing nothing all year.

Think that would be a breach of contract on our part. I think he has to turn up for training and we have to be prepared to receive him to ensure that no breach occurs. If we agree upon a contract change dispensing with the need for him to turn up that could work but with him not training and no move on the horizon his people may find that counter productive.

I sense a cheap one year loan being in the air, possibly to Roma to cover Abraham's absence and Jose pulling our pants down a bit. But why not, we're in a hole and ready to be exploited because of this delusional clown
