Didn't you people say thesame thing after Roberto Di Matteo won us the Champions league in 2012? So just because Tuchel won us the champions league last season, we should not do well this season?

We shall see.

You're acting like with this one game our whole season is dead. We won the Super Cup, we are in the league cup final, we are still in the F.A cup and Champions League and we will be playing in the club world cup soon. Give you head a wobble and get a grip.

That’s what happens when you’ve got no other striking options unfortunately.

don't get me wrong Lukaku played poorly but he’s being made a scapegoat for the utter toss that was around him

No, he's just been called out for being a very average footballer that he is. The fact that Pulisic and Ziyech were also crap doesn't change that.

Who is you people?

Pretty dumb to compare Di Matteo's pedrigree as manager to Tuchels. One was sacked from West brom, the other reached a Champions final the year before aswell.

Beat by a much better team. Doesn’t help that a team who plays with wingbacks have the two best in Prem League missing through injury. The likes of Alonso, Ziyech and Pulisic shouldn’t be near our starting 11.

I think losing James and Chilwell is hurting as as much as Liverpool losing VVD last season. They are now so important to how we play that we really struggle when they are missing. We can get by against sh*t teams like Spurs but when you face a side of City's quality, it is almost impossible. And then the spotlight is on other players needing to step up and literally no-one did with Ziyech, Pulicic & Lukaku all having absolute stinkers.

Nope. Robbie was a perfect storm but Tuchel is a good coach that made some terrible decisions. Pep and Klopp also has some abysmal decisions in their locker as well.

Get a grip, Hezbollah.  Oops, I mean Hepzibah.   We cannot continue on the Chelsea manager carousel, can't you see that?    Fans like you will drag this team down, and its sad that there are lots like you unfortunately.

See, there are basic things that a manager needs to know about football. Now, in our last match before this one, I think Hudson-Odoi played at LWB, and you can tell that if Hudson-Odoi had played instead of Alonso at LWB today, he would have been an outlet for us in attack, and we would have probably scored. Odoi would have done whatever defensive work he needed to do in  that position, and we would have been okay. But instead of using Hudson-Odoi, he used Alonso.

Again, Mount and Havertz should have started instead of Ziyech and Pulisic.

Didn't see the interview but Lukaku was extremely poor today. His aerial play inexistent. One single good run with an ok finish and butchered our very first chance in the game with this hard to explain passing on Ziyech.

Sure, Pulisic was worse and so was Ziyech but Rom put himself in the window and doesn't deliever at all. Easy as that.

Yes he was poor.

He muscled a couple off the ball had one shot saved yet passing to Ziyech when he had just one defender in front of him.........

It looked like the plan was for the other forwards to put him through as a 1 v 1 and no-one could deliver that clinical final ball. Mount was close yet put the ball into the wrong channel.

The EFL final line up will be interesting.

Exactly. This and Christensen + Trev out so that Rüdiger has to be taken out of his best position combined with Kanté not being fit (and hence not in-form as well) + Kova too had too many games to play out of necessity when he came back from a long pause. And then Lukaku felt the need to step in and make him + everybody else look like clowns. Lots of bad luck so it is what it is.

For God's sake, what is your business with the injuries that we have? Was it the injuries that we had that made Tuchel start Ziyech and Pulisic instead of Mount and Havertz behind Lukaku?

Was it the injuries that made Tuchel use a system that made us so blunt in attack? Instead Tuchel will set three CBs, and plays wing backs that are not effective. Since we have injuries to our wing backs, why not play another system that will make us strong in attack. Or at least play Hudson-Odoi instead of Alonso.

If he had played 4231 with Kante, Kovacic, Mount, Havertz, Ziyech and Lukaku trained and playing together, this would have been a better team.

Even if Chillwell and James were fit, I will still say that this Tuchel's system is wrong.

So it's Tuchel out.

What makes a bad coach is terrible decisions. Just because Tuchel won the champions league, so many people don't want to be calling him out when he makes terrible decisions. We need to start calling him out when he makes terrible decisions.

If he was a City fan, he would be calling for Guardiola's head after losing 3 games in a row against us last season.

Saying "Tuchel out" is such a ridiculous take. Who does he even think we could bring in that would be better?

Okay, he made some bad decisions today with starting that front 3. Happy now? can we move on?

But, didn't Man City fans call for his head when he lost the Champions league final to us?

Come on, that is what I want from Chelsea fans too. If we call for his head and he sits up and does better and turn things around, the team will be better for it.

Pep didn't use a DM and made terrible decisions when he played us in the CL Final. Does that make him a bad coach?

Plenty of coaches make terrible decisions throughout their career. Plenty of people call Tuchel out on mistakes even in this thread alone,  doesn't mean he's immediately a bad coach.

That's just silly. He has enough problems now as it is. This is probably one of the most problematic season in our club's history yet we're still in the race for top 2.

He's probably the only manager we've had that is doing relatively well in a season where key players are out for long periods, with horrible scheduling and a massive primadonna in the team. Yet we're still in every competition there is.

If he has us stuck at 10th or below then maybe your way of thinking would resonate more

A small minority did, but anybody with a brain could see what an idiotic take that was.

Do you really think that City are in the position they are in now because a tiny minority of fans called for Guardiola's sacking? Their position now is almost identical to last season, the only difference is that they are out of the league cup, so actually, they are slightly worse off at this point.

City aren't looking good because some fans called for Guardiola's sacking last season, they look good because they are great team who have dominated English football for half a decade.

But as fans, we have the right to be angry anytime he makes terrible decisions and that is exactly what I'm doing right now. I'm angry.

Be angry then, I am too, but being angry doesn't need to result in stupid takes like "Tuchel out"

It’s no coincidence that our form has dipped since losing James and Chilwell. I think the plan with Lukaku was based on Chilwell and James being fit and putting balls into the box for him. Now that’s all gone out the window, Lukaku looks a liability.

Was very surprised that we started with a front three of Ziyech, Lukaku and Pulisic. Am assuming this was due to injuries or fitness issues. None of them made a compelling case and Pulisic might as well not have been on the pitch while Ziyech was completely wasteful. I’ve been willing to give Lukaku a break but sadly he’s looking like the player we all feared he was. Wonder if there’s any chance we could cut our losses with him over the summer? He’s not going to be the striker we hoped for is he?

We played 11 against 11, we played on thesame football pitch, and we say Pep Guardiola and Man City are better than us. No excuse for Thomas Tuchel. I do not agree with his tactics. We have had managers before in Chelsea and we have played against top teams before. So, Tuchel out.

Post of the year and it's only half of January.

So, will Man City dominate the premier league till thy kingdom comes now? That is the only thing that you keep resonating, that they have dominated the premier league for half a decade. Instead of talking of how Chelsea will win the premier league again.

Some people really need to pull up their big boy pants. We will not get a better manager than Tuchel if we sacked him. His record in his 12 months, yes just 12 months, with us is excellent.

Today we simply couldn't compete with a team that is head and shoulders better than every team in the league and, on top of that, is in a purple patch of form. Having Michael Caine as our manager and staging the game in war torn Germany probably wouldn't have made much difference.

Kante is the only player in our squad who would play regularly for  City. Silva in his prime obviously would too.

Doesn't mean we won't beat them sometimes as that can always happen but we aren't in their league consistently. To get there we need consistency in management and a properly planned period of squad turnover.

This reply of yours has nothing to do with the point I was making in my post. Stick to the topic we were talking about instead of swinging from one extreme to the next.
