absolute  sh*t show in out biggest game of the month.. This one is one TT.. he had a reputation oof making strange decisions.. he has been making them galore in the past few months.. Needs to get his act together.. he is probably our best coach but his standards have dropped.

Todays performance and result have made me appreciate how lucky we were to beat them in Porto. We have a long way to go to think of challenging for the prem especially with the attacking section of the squad. Defence did a job today and for once it was Kante who let go of his man, all in all losing by 1 isn’t that bad. Title race is OVER !

 

We were sh*te today. City were much better and deserved the win and the title

No shame in losing to City. But v disappointing to do so playing our worst football.

City don’t use a number 9 as their strongest team why do we think we need one we just need a Werner than can actually score

1 shot on target in the last 2 games against them clearly shows we have gone backwards or that they have adapted to us in no time. They don't even need a replacement for Aguero that is objetively one of the best strikers the league has ever had, that's how much superior they are in the league.

I doubt Tuchel set up the team to be defensive today. His actions on the touchline speak otherwise. The players just seemed too afraid to take the game to City compared to when we faced them last year.

Haaland is twice the player Lukaku is and offers so much more. You would be deluded to think we wouldn't be better with him in the team.

If we want to challenge City for the title next year, we need to get rid of a lot of players who simply aren't good enough.

City is simply to good. The moment of the match was when Lukaku didn’t finish his one on one chance.

It's a shame how City stayed the same and we regressed since the final... Injuries obviously don't help, but I hope we'll put much more of a fight next time. Brighton next then and let's focus on the cups! 

 

I just hope that playing Lukaku every match doesn't cost us the top 4 spot.

We had the first big chance in the game, if we had scored from that we may be talking about a different game. First goal is massive in these games.

Looks to me like the tactic was to defend, put pressure and pray that some random ball reaches Lukaku in the box.

There was no luck involved in that win. We fully deserved it.

Both 100m men were atrocious. 

We look intimidated from start to finish. Today really amplified the attacking problems we've struggled to contend with for several months.

TT deserves enough goodwill from fans. First loss in 12 games in all competitions against arguably the best side in the world at the moment.
