With Torres it was so painfully obvious that if we replaced him with a proper striker we'd improve ten fold, as proved with Costa and even Eto'o to an extent.

With Lukaku we just know we're never going to see a Leicester/Juve like performance with him on the pitch.

I really hope him and Tuchel have "made up" the same way Conte and Costa did.

Kepa making every shot outside the box looking like a wonder strike because both his positioning and awareness are terrible. This is why he's a poor keeper, not worth 1/10th of what we paid.

Every team that plays well against Liverpool and City plays a certain way. We somehow ignore that and play like this. Tuchel has got this completely wrong. In selection and tactics 

The space is in behind but no one wants to make the pass… the ball moves slowly, players standing around expecting someone to turn into Messi, almost afraid to be assertive

A mix of stubbornness and mentality at the club trying to justify a 100m player. We won't just drop Lukaku long term sadly. We could with Torres at times because Drogba was an icon and could score goals, we don't have anyone like that up top with Lukaku. 

Was a ridiculous signing in the first place. 

Lukaku is not setting the world alight.

But Mount, Odoi, Ziyech, Puli and Werner around him is probably the worst attack i can remember at this club. And that includes pre Roman.

He's as guilty as any other attacker today. His touch has been atrocious, and he's failed to show up against a top team AGAIN. What is that, 50 in a row now?
