It's a real shame. I am 61 years old and have never seen our country in the state it is in now. There is so much wrong it is hard to know where to begin. The country badly needs some self-belief. Something to galvanize it. Something to unite people. For sure it wouldn't solve all our problems, but winning a World Cup would have really given us a real lift.

 

Bringing sterling for saka is a bit bizarre. Maybe saka asked for a sub? The bigger question is why Sterling over rashford?

Southgate has been at England far longer than Potter and not had to worry about budgets for players and just look at the size of his potential squad.
