Let's hope the pikeys can do us a favour today don't want Le arse breathing down our necks too....

They have their minds elsewhere though, like Leicester did.

FFS, if Arsenal win today 3rd place is very much up for grabs now. In fact, Spuds are in there too.

We may get EL as this disgusting run continues.

Feck the squad. They NEED to go after the season. I don't care if we somehow get 3rd and the FA Cup. They still need to go. The damage they have done throughout the season is close to unbearable.

We will never challenge City and Liverpool at this rate, United are going through a structural change which could wake the sleeping giant, Newcastle will be different - while you have the North London clubs as well...

Next season is going to be absolutely brutal for Chelsea unless we get in new players. Mount, Havertz and Kovacic are good bench players but not good enough to be our starting XI. Every other attacker good riddance. Alonso BYE. Jorginho BYE. Azpi BYE (you have REALLY disappointed me these last number of games).

f**k me, I’m pissed off, but I’m not that pissed off. We were sh*te today and we’ll be sh*te again. But we will pick up, we will come good again, maybe not this season, which what with one thing and another, most of us will be well glad to see the back of,  but we will get back to winning ways.

The best thing about the sh*t times is that they make you appreciate the good times that much more. See there’s always a bright side! And I haven’t even mentioned the seventies and the eighties.

But it's not like this is a one off thing. This is something that has been happening to us on repeat for years now. This is isn't just some reactionary post, this is me watching the same thing happening on repeat. No passion, no heart, no determination. The players don't play like they want to dig in and grind out a win, they play like they are afraid of getting a bit of dirt on their shorts. How many times over recent years have we watched us play an entire half without even testing the keeper? Most games it takes 60 minutes before they wake up. They just go through the motions, playing it forward, then back to the halfway line, then back to the keeper. These sleepy performances inevitably lead a defender or keeper getting caught out by a player that isn't so sleepy and is doing everything to help their team win. Look at the amount of goals we have given away of late because of this. Where is the energy and desire to win every single week from the 1st minute? We have more talent at this club than nearly any other club in Europe, but it doesn't count for much if they don't have the motivation and desire to match it.

It’s an easy reaction to blame desire or motivation but in all honesty team selection and set up was the problem today. I wouldn’t say we weren’t trying. We were tactically set up wrong and only one change from an ineffective game against a crap Uturds team said it all.

So you are blaming TT?

Even if the set up was wrong today, the players were passing sideways, and only had 1/2 shots on target.

Lampard and Everton who are on the FLOOR, outclassed us even though we had most of the ball. When they go forward they were more threatening.

But honestly, the MAIN reason why we haven't been picking up points or ended up in draws because our defence which did so well at the beginning of the season are now fecking up time and time again. The defence that we saw under Lampard is creeping back.

You can also say the other reason why is because as usual our attackers are dogsh*te. LUKAKU especially.

Everyone has different opinions on who should and shouldn’t play.

we made chances and goalkeeper had a good day.

Another individual mistake gives them the win.

We just didn’t look as up for it with body language and how aggressive we were. Havertz and Werner didn’t put themselves about and looked like boys vs men.

side point how did Richarladson get away with picking up a smoke bomb after the goal and throw back into the crowd without being booked. What would of happened if one of our players had done that we wouldn’t have heard the end of it.

Similar form since April that we saw in November our rivals so far haven’t been able to profit but keep it up and top 4 won’t be nailed on more like nail biter

Minus one or two players, it was the same set up that had us at the top of the table in the early parts of the season. The difference between then and now is the effort levels and pace. We weren't playing slow back then, we were playing with a ton of pace. The midfield were playing forward with a purpose. Balls over the top, balls played through defences, now it's just pointing, playing slow, sideways passes that just end up going back to the keeper. The amount of times I see it go out wide just to see the ball played backwards or for one of our full backs to allow a defender to put a tackle in is infuriating. James is one of the best crossers of the ball in the world, but he takes f**king ages to just get it out of his feet of late. What is taking the team so long just try something that actually gives us a chance of scoring? They were doing it game after game at the start of the season, but as soon as Chilwell got injured, they all just stopped playing. Kante, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, they try these bursting runs from deep, and at the start of the season they would keep driving forward, but as soon as they get close to a defender these days, they sh*t themselves, stop, and play sideways. I can remember Kovacic even creating goals at the start of the season, that kind of play has disappeared completely from our game since November. There isn't a single player that tries playing through the defence anymore, they have just stopped trying.

I have seen Tuchel make a lot of changes to the team, even changing the formation at times, but one thing remains, the slow, not even half hearted performances.

Kovacic, James, Chilwell, Silva, Mendy, Havertz (midfield, NOT as false 9) and Mount (bench) can stay. Everyone else needs to go. Terrible, bang average players.

Could anyone summarise the game for me unfortunately I missed it. I heard we hit the post a couple of times and something about a mistake for the goal we let in?

To summarise, like almost every other performance of late, sh*te. Didn't register a single decent attempt on goal until around the 60th minute and created next to f**k all after that. The usual slow, sideways passing, then back to the defence only to start all over again. Their goal came from another one of our f**k ups at the back almost immediately after the break, this time it was Azpilicueta taking too long on the ball. By the time he tried to clear it, he had an Everton player all over him, robbed him of the ball and scored an easy goal.

Not even upset about this game as it went exactly as I thought it would do, just with less goals.

Seen it for years that players just decide to give up and half a$$ it regardless of manager, formation and/or personal changes. They just stop caring for the most part and lack guts.

Soon as the Real game was over I expected it to break us. Has nothing to do with the take over imo. Many of this squad are young and/or mentality weak and that game broke them and TT won't be able to fix them.

Luckily for our top 4 hopes we face 3 sides home who also are showing signs they don't give a toss either.

It’s the grass. They should employ me on £500k a week to make sure it’s kept at optimal length.

Marina is preparing your contract for £750K a week as I type ... and you'll get a bonus for every goal Lukaku scores as well :-)

I didn’t want a bonus anyway.

We just faced an unmotivated, very poor United side and we only managed to get a draw.

We have to hope the North London clubs start to drop points. This squad had checked out since the Real 2nd leg.

EDIT: Arsenal 3 points behind us.

Fair mate, can't really rely on the hammers so likely Arsenal will bring the gap to 3 points. We probably have to win out now for the rest of the season. The London derby will have a big say on the top 4 race.

If Liverpool do what we expect them to do Spurs should still be 5 points behind us after playing their next game. Ofc nothing is certain and relying on other results is never ideal. I'm hoping it doesn't happen but there's a chance we may finish 4th or worst case scenario if this slump continues drop out of the top 4.

I'm hoping we get all these performances out the way and hit form again in a couple of weeks in time for our showdown with Liverpool for the cup.

Yes. That was it really. And the ref was sh*t.

Did anyone realistically expect any different considering everything surrounding the club?

The players & to a lesser extent the manager have quit until there is some clarity on who's going to be signing the checks next year!

I can only surmise that the players are all fully in tune with Chelsea's history, and realised that losing to Everton and then beating Leeds would be their optimal contribution in helping to get Leeds relegated
