Tuchel prepares the players and picks the teams. He keeps picking the same players despite their failures. So yes you can blame him and the players.

Next Chelsea match I am going to watch is the final.

Actually I’m getting less convinced by TT. Listen to the comments from Tammy in midweek. He seems to have favoured players and simply doesn’t get the best out of others. I don’t care what people say about Lukaku, this manager should be able to get something out of him. Managers like Klopp seem to improve all the players in his squad.

Like some said already, it's been plaguing our game since at least Mourinho 2nd stint and a reason why Roman was always looking for the next manager in line to get us fire up the flair (and it hasn't really happened for any sustained period).

I'm really over this season and just want us to at least win two more games so we can qualify to champions league and put it behind us. From the Premier league giving teams fixture advantages during COVID to Roman getting sanctioned and being forced to sell the club, this season as been one sh*tshow and one I hope to forget. The only saving grace would be us winning the FA cup but given the way we are playing I'm afraid we will just embarrass ourselves in the final so I'm going to be pessimistic about that final.

We are averaging about 1 point per game for the last 6 games. If we don't improve on that in our last 4 games we could well miss out on top 4, let alone 3rd.

Done with this ladies and gents. Will watch the cup final but not putting anymore time into the league - need a break. 
36 years of following Chelsea and first time I’ve turned the tv off. They need to show a lot more passion and desire to wear that badge for me - not up to it.

Poor, poor performance. Tuchel, messed up too. You have 2 subs left and you bring on Ziyech and Pulisic, not Lukaku. Look, I get you are planning for like without Lukaku but he had to come on. Ridiculous not too. Werner and Havertz were poor all game and your CF who changed the game last week is left on the bench. Bemusing. RLC was the only one who comes out with credit today.

To be fair, he doesn't really have any other options. Every other alternative are along the likes of Sarr and co who would probably even be worse. The only player I'll point my fingers at for not playing is Rom. Yeah he's been sh*t but he at least offers something different from our other forwards. Something that may have been useful against an Everton team that parked two buses. As sad as it is to say, we might just have to limp our way over the finish line just like the last couple of seasons.

I agree, the players couldn’t be bothered today.

Although I think Kai should of been subbed off, he was poor and just got into a battle with Mina which didn’t benefit us one bit.

The players were awful today though and should shoulder nearly all of the blame.

Some of the players seem to be playing as though that Cup final is the only thing that matters between now and the end of the season.  It doesn't help that we have a few players who already know they are leaving at the end of the season too. If we had better coverage I would say they shouldn't be playing for us any more. Either way Tuchel should be telling the entire squad that over the remaining league games they are playing for their starting spot in the final.  On current form can any player say they deserve to start?
