I frankly disagree with you, and I'm sure a huge part of our fanbase may be thinking like you are thinking at the moment, and I don't know why you would even be thinking like this. 

You said we are behind other clubs due to the sale. I disagree. Don't forget Marina is still assisting the new owners during this period of our transition. I don't understand why we can be behind other clubs because we got a new owner.

Also, last season, we didn't perform too well, and this season again you are saying we should build to start challenging in 2 or 3 seasons from now, we should accept next season as it is. Wow. We had the opportunity of getting Kounde, Gvardiol, Nunes, Richardlison, and probably other players. I know some people may disagree with some of the names I mentioned there, but the truth is if they join this team, this team will be better.

If we had these players in this our squad this next season, we can challenge other teams for any trophy, and we don't have to wait till 2 or 3 seasons from now. And if the board fail to sign any player we need, it will not be because there are no players in the market, and we don't have to wait till 2 or 3 seasons from now. The fault will be the fault of the board.

Marina left the building already. Almost all of Roman's higher up left last month.

Looking forward to the first game of the season when he misses a tap-in and the daily mail and twitter meme pages are all over it like a rash. At City when his finishing let him down it rarely mattered due to the way they setup, there will always be another chance.. with us, different story. To give him credit though, he seems to have the right mentality so it probably won’t effect him so much as it would others, guys pretty much been through everything with the British press.

IMO that's a very important point and what made us so incredibly hard to beat under TT for a long time: the group chemistry, dedication, relentless work rate and mentality combined with a tactical rather individual approach. Obviously paired with good to very good talent.

Sterling (and I'd say Aké abut I don't know him too well) fits into that job desciption almost 100%.

The only thing I hate about this transfer is that I now have to watch his "little girl" runs in 90% of games. 

I hope he scores boatloads to relieve my annoyance

One thing that doesn’t get said much about Sterling is that apparently he is a real leader in the dressing room. We are lacking strong voices so he will be an important asset in that sense.
